I'm a procrastinator, and get side tracked easy. I pick up, keep the dishes done, everyday. My house doesn't look messy, but I have a toddler so by the end of the day, I have toys all over, plus husband lays things around, and not much storage space here. I want to be more motivated and clean each room spottless everyday, what are some tips? How do you keep your house clean? And keep time for yourself?

I have 5 sons-21, 20, 18(twins) & 10. Last Jan. my then 19 yr. old sent went to "boot camp" for the Army National Guard. He came back for good in June. Thankfully, he hasn't been deployed yet. He had weekend training sessions for about 2 months before he went. Now, one of my 18 yr.old (identical) twin sons is leaving for Marine boot camp-he'll be gone for 13 weeks & comes home for 10 days & then I don't know when I'll see home again. Now, I'm a hard-knocks kind of girl. I don't usually get emotional unless someone's on their death bed, but inside, I'm really starting to fall apart. Does he REALLY know what he's in for? Where will he go after the 13 weeks? He has no early training like my other son, can he take it? Will he be hurt & I won't know it? Will he come home completely changed ? Or worse yet, not at all? I'm so afraid of not seeing him, of losing him. How do I stay cheerful for my other kids (including 4-step,2 adult-2young ones) & family when all I want is to cry & be alone?

Her step moms boyfriend wants to move the family again to Florida. We live in North Carolina. What should we do? Should we ask her step mom for her to stay up here, and I become her gardian. Or should I transfer my College to Florida and ask to move with her family. We both believe we have found our perfect match and we felt confertable around each other since we met the first day. She is my dream girl in all ways. she also says that I'm what she's been looking for. What can I do, please remember that this isn't her real family.

I can not understand why society looks down upon younger individuals who want to start their families. Yes, I do understand that a lot of individuals, who are 18, are not capable of this kind of commitment to this magnitude. But it is not fair for other 18 year olds who are mentally, emotionally, and are fully capable of starting a family at their age. Can anybody tell me why society does not approve of this? If only they remembered that a few generations ago, individuals were getting married and starting a family at 15, and they turned out fine.

Ugh, my life seems to be coming to an end. I have ADHD so its hard for me to focus on things and I get distracted easily. Not to mention I also have anxiety problems. So anyways school is not working out for me!! The only thing I have learned this year is that I suck at school and that I just wasnt born to go! Last year I did Independent Study and that worked out great! I ended up getting a great report card as well. However both of my parents work, so most of the time I had to stay at home by myself and I needed help with alot of things becuase its hard for me to learn independently. So on weekends me and my mom would have to watch my little sister while my mom tryed to help me with my work. I really want to be good at school, but nothing is working out! My parents hardly have that much money to pay for my expensive medications that dont even work!! So is my life pretty much screwed or what? Im in 8th grade now and im scared im not going to make it to high school.

I have 3 children, the first 2 are by one husband who was very violent and the baby is by my soon to be ex he was also violent.

I left my hubby in january to be near my sister, I was in refuge.

I was rehoused and I got counselling and started to build for the future.
I have made so many changes to improve things-
I have always tried to be strong but due to the death of my daughter and my ex hubbys behaviour sometimes I get low.

I have my driving test this week, I'm always the first to offer anyone help if they need it.

My ex is due to see the baby supervised at the contact center on the 23rd and my sister had said she'll babysit.

She now says she ain't going to cos her hubby has a new job, that I expect everyone to feel sorry for me and that I should look for a childcare agency and contact the social services for help.

She never offers to babysit and when her hubby was playing up she asked me to call him and reason with him.

Am I right to be upset with her ???

My friend just went through a bad divorce. Her ex has custody of their little girl (age 3) b/c my friend didn't have a house or vehicle and they settled on a no fault divorce. Hes 24 and has an underage girl living with him and being with my friends little girl all the time. The girl is little more than a baby herself. She can't take care of a very active 3 yr old. My friend is scared if something should happen (like if the little girl choked), the girl wouldn't know what to do and shes also bothered by the fact that a girl not even old enough to babysit took her place. This girl is getting to wake up every morning with Nicole's daughter, is feeding her breakfast, and is playing with her all day the way my friend used to. She's scared her daughter will come to like the girl better than her. What should she do?

my sister in law has raised her granson from baby, as mother could not be bothered and dad too young. the dad has been in boys life all along and now has a house and another baby, his son stays every weekend, mother still being a tart. now the father has asked if he can take on his son full time and become a family. as son is only 4yrs he is to young to make this decision so my sister who has court custody is torn, to have to decide. it will break her heart to lose him but is it right he should be with his dad and step sister.

Is it possible to disown one son and not the other? One of my brother's friend's dad's abused him and he said something to his mom, who blew a gasket and said he was a liar, a whore and a few other things. Now he's at children's service's because she (or he) refuses to do anything with him.

You know what else is stupid? Their other son is into drugs and drinking. Can't the father be sentanced in jail for abuse?!

I've seen all these charities everywhere wanting donations, but I haven't been able to find a way to get assistance. I am living with my parents with my husband and daughter. We need to get assistance. We can't live in government apartments due to my husband's record. He's not working and I only get paid $6 an hour with 15 hours a week. He's been looking for work everywhere. I think his record is preventing a lot of things from happening. He's trying to change his life around. Sometimes it seems like we'd be better off if he went back into a life of crime. I know it's not true, but I feel so hopeless. People are judging me for staying with him and I know I'm doing what is right. It's not what is easy, but it's right. I hope someone can help my family and not judge us. My husband is a hard worker, but he can't get work. My parents don't like him so they are making us miserable. I do work for them and it's never right. They want to split us up, but I can't let that happen. Please help us

You're a billionaire and you've just discovered that after years and years of frivolous spending that you have only $1 million left and two weeks to live (cancer of the brain - inoperable). What would you do with the money and with your last two weeks of life?

You're a widower with have three spoiled children that rarely call/visit you; they have no children. You have two siblings, a sister (you know where she lives) that you despised growing up and a brother that moved away and you haven't heard from him in over 25 years. Both of your parents have died (each of them was an only child) so you have no aunts/uncles or nieces/nephews. You don't know if either of your siblings has children.

Would you rectify your relationships and spend your money on that? Live in simplicity and give the money to someone else? (Who?) Spend some and give some? Spend it all? Or would you do something else with it?

now and the father gets to see the baby every friday and sunday for 5 hours. Since that was all he wanted but all he does is uy formula, diapers, wipes and whatever else the baby needs that my sister puts on the list. But the thing is, he doesn't always by everything, or the right thing.. and sometimes nothing at all. I tell her to take him to court but she is afraid that he will get the baby more and really he doesn't even pick up the baby, his parents do. They usually drop her off too. What should she do?
