Well my boyfriend is comn gou to visit me in janruary but i have to tell my bro hes like my dad hes very serious and scary he doesnt think my boyfriend is good enough for me and he thinks hes stupid. He doesnt evevn know weve been going out. he knows him from 2 yrs ago when we first went out. Well im really scared to tell him but i have too I think i should tell hijm like a week before...You think thats to late???

I know your situation. It's never going to be a good time to tell your bros. But to be honest, sooner the better. If it REALLY pisses them off then at least there will be time for them to calm down some before he shows because if you wait until too late - they'll have all that emotion still going.
Maybe your bros know something you don't? Listen to them - they might be right. But then again, they might just be this way to every single guy you ever meet.

The sooner you tell them the better. This way it will give your brothers a chance to let it all out of their systems and they should be cool, by the time your boyfriend arrives. Don't wait to the last minute, it will just cause more chaos, as they will not have enough time to vent. Also, somewhere in your conversation with your bros, let them know your true feelings for your boyfriend. They will have to accept what makes you happy, and if he treats you well, and you love and accept him for who he is, than so should they. Stand your ground, cause if roles were reversed, they wouldn't care or listen to what you had to say.

Tell your brother as soon as you can, I grew up with 5 older brothers so I know what it's like. Ask your brother to trust you and that if you are unsure of anything you will talk with him. He only wants the best for you but sometimes I know they can be over-baring. Try to find your brother a girlfriend it may help keep him off your case. Well, I've been planing on my bf coming and meeting them..But then I get scared. Cuz i think they are gonna like beat him up or something. But I'd try telling them that he really means alot to you and that you'd appericate it if they TRIED to get along or try to not say anything mean about him.
I'd probably tell him a little more than a week before. Give him time to get used to it. If you spring it on him that late, he'd probably be upset.

If your family respects and loves you and this guy is not really a dangerous psychopath then they should respect your choices.
All too often families get torn apart by something like this. You should tell them as soon as possible so you have a little time to sort things out before he arrives.

Listen, love is special. Obviously and yr bf love each other a lot and u r defintly not gona let yr dad and yr bro stand in the way it! But yes u have left it too late but its understandable y u did it..there are reasons y yr bro and dad dont like him and u have to respect that until u can prove to them that they are wrong. But u also have to put yourself in their shoes..they obviously love u very much and dont want u to get hurt in any way..all of u just have to listen to each other and please try to understand eachother!..good luck sweety

what if you tey getting him out of the house when he comes? tell him to go to a friends or something...
might not work though if it doesnt then sit him down and jus tell him that you have been dating him and you really like him just tell him your feelings and then at the end tell him hes comming to visit you...

ok, for starters, its YOUR BOYFRIEND, and if he makes you happy then your brother and dad should be happy for you,,it shouldn't matter what they think, the most important thing is that he makse you happy he treats you nice then it souldsn't matter, tell them whenever you want, and tell them that he makes you happy and you want ot stay with him,
they shouhld understand that
