I was a stay at home mom for 4 years and i heard a list of the things a stay at home mom does or ANY mom for that matter....like, CEO, psychriayst...head of housekeeping...Conflict manager...nurse....etc..I know there is a TON more i just cant think of what they are. I am talking with a friend about this......

I think i worded this wrong. I have a job now but when i was a stay at home mom i got one of those fowared email that was a joke and it was a resume of what a mom really does and would be qualified for and i dont remember where i got it from and was wondering if anyone has heard of it.....thanks

I agree with Big Dawg. I had the same issue and I just listed the time frame like I did for my other jobs and put "Homemaker" in the Employer spot. Never had any problems with it.

Put the truth. If you was a stay at home mother, almost every employer knows what a mother does. Don't try to doctor it up with fancy titles, but you could list the things you did (like taking classes) to improve yourself, or list the things you did as volunteer work. However, don't put anything on the resume (or leave off) that can't be validated. If you do get hired and they find out you lied on the resume, that is grounds for termination no matter how good a worker you are.
