Family - November 2006

My mother does not act like a mother or do her job as one. She treats me like crap. She acts more like my friend. She calls my sister bitches and hoes, but I don't let her try me like that. I practically take care of myself or my other family help out. My aunt offered to take custody of me but you know she was saying no. Is there a way I could prove to the courts that she is a bad parent and I'm living in a bad home, and that I have family members that are willing to take care of me at no cost. There has to be a way. I'm not going to be bad and runaway like most kids so she could have the police come after me. This doens't make any sense. I have no type of parental figure here or support. I could go somewhere else to be treated like crap. I feel that If i have another place to go to get love and support and financial care i should be able to. Parental rights should be able to be signed over or taken someway. At the other house I will have a mother and a father plus siblings to love me.

My brother claims to have something wrong with him everyday. He goes to the hospital all the time for all his aches and pains. And whenever he does something or goes somewhere something seems to happen to him and he ends up calling a lawyer. I want to make him a gag gift basket for Christmas with stuff in it to help him "survive" the traggies life brings him. :-) Like a first aid kit. What else could I put in it? Any ideas what to use as the container?

I wear underwear which fits me well. It's not too loose, but in the back by my butt it's WAY saggy. It always get bunched up and such.

I've tried numerous types, and this always happens. What can I do?

Commando - Not an option. It feels weird.

I'm a GUY, so no girly stuff.

And I don't go underwear shopping for myself, since I"m only in Jr. High and that'd be weird. Anything I can do to 'fix' my current ones. I won't ask my mum about this sorta stuff, its weird.

My mother told me that I was not "thin" and that my stomach was sticking out, although it wasn't. She constantly tells me to suck my stomach in, although my stomach is FLAT. (I am serious, it is. It will go out about half an inch and that's it.) I am 5'5" and I weigh 115 lbs. I constantly feel a drop in self-esteem when she does tell me that I am not thin, and it is hard to make me feel better. She is always judging me, but when I go to my room she immediately wants to make up, although I like to have about an hour to cool off. I think that she is lonely, but I hate how she criticizes me and judges me on what I eat. (She is a single mother). My mother is 56 and I am 14 years old so we have a big age difference. Could that be it? If I try to "talk" to her about boys, the discussion will not end well because she thinks she is right in the decision. I don't know what to do. I am an only child, but I am applying to boarding schools next year. Hopefully things will get better.

Sometime last week, I had the oddest, and sickest dream. I was in some house upstairs. There was this elaborate bedroom, that looked very much like my mother's bedroom, but smaller. It also had these beautiful doors that you would find in the Sims 2. I was walking out of the closet in that bedroom, and my father (my parents are seperated), asked if I needed him to have sex with me. I said yes. We had sex, but when we had sex, it was not my father, it was some other man. I don't know who. When I was walking out of the room, a girl from my school, and her mother, were stading by that bedroom door with some man, trying to listen to the sex.

I don't really love my dad, as a dad or as anyone. He's okay. Really selfish, childish and imature. What does my dream mean? (I am 13)

I am looking for any info on my birth mother and my sister karen or sharon who would be at least 18 months older than me(i will be 28 in december). I was born on dec 15/1978 in toronto ontario. When i was ready to leave the hospital my grandparents took me for a couple of days until my adoptive parents could get the paperwork together to come and get me.My grandparents were tall and my mother was a short lady (about 4ft10). My birth name was Ann Francis H.
I would like to contact my birth mother as i have a few questiond for her and i also want to THANK her for giving me to the best family ever. I also want to contact my sister and to find out if i have any other brothers and sisters and to find them.
I have 4 children myself and i would like them to know their extended family.

what if this was your life...been 20 years old..living with two narrow minded people in their 50's...who dont allowed you to go anywhere..no friends they say this world is too bad u might get spoiled in it...not allowed to spend money..not allowed to buyclothes...not allowed to have bf/gf....if you go to school one of them cal u and ask u where are you how come not yet home?instead of calling on your cell phone..what would u do?can u answer this question ..been helpless with all responsibity you have that you cant move

Thank you for the answers. I am the landlord who had this happen to me. I suggested that I would build a doghouse. Or that a crate should be utilized. But the owner said the dog would not do those choices. So the owner had the dog put to death. Now the owner blames me for murdering the dog. Does this make sense?



Also, the renter is my mother. She has now said she never wants her grandkids to set foot in her house ever again, never! What would you do in this situation?

I dont like my future sis-in-law and I think she feels the same way. I have tried hanging out with her and everything but she annoys the hell out of me. I make an extra effort to do something but nothing seems to work and I dont know what to do because its my fiance's sister and I need to have a good relationship with her. We live in the same city too which makes it more worse because I have to see her all the time. I feel like I have tried almost everything and anything to make it work. We don't fight or anything but we act very fake around each other just to make it look like we like each other and I hate it. She is like a princess and wants to be treated like one all the time. Since I don't treat he r that way I think thats where the main problem lies. I even talked to my fiance but since its his sister he never takes my side and makes me feel like I have to make the effort and not her...really sucks.Please help.

I had a rough childhood and had some things happen to me by a close babysitter. My parents denied it, and I grew up trying to avoid it. I am now 23 and completely lost. I have been recently researching this person and trying to find where he lives. I think I have it down to three people (started with 50). What should I do from here? I am wanting to confront him, but I don't know how or if I should.

my daughter is 7 and I'm trying to tell her what Christmas was like for her great-grandma who was born in 1918. How she got home-made socks and clothes. If she got a doll she was extremly lucky since they were dirt poor. I'm also trying to get her to understand how to appreciate a gift like I did when I was her age.
So here is my question to you, I do understand about hard times from my grandmother stories, but please tell me (and my daughter) a short story on your favorite xmas as a youngster? We will also be copying these for a project she is doing in school. So sincere answers please.

Are you volunteering this holiday season to help those less fortunate?
A good place to start your children when my were growing up we used to go downtown to this big church where they served dinner and gave gifts to those less fortunate than others. After they opened their gifts off we'd go any age can usuallly volunteer as long as the parent is there it helped them to see that even if they didn't get all they wanted for christmas there were many others less fortunate than them and made them more apppreciate what they have it also helps to teach them to have a giving heart God bless all

My daughter and I are travelling from Australia to Atlanta and I have asked my fiances family to come and pick me up from the airport which is about an hour and a half from where they live. They cant just tell me that they can and have to have discussions about collecting me from the airport. My fiance cant collect me cause he is a merchant and will not be back for about two weeks til after I arrive. Seriously, I would think that they would just say yes and it not be a problem, given that I am travelling so that they can spend Christmas with their grandchild and son rather than me stay in Australia and have him come here for Christmas.

I dont think they like me...but what do you think?

I'm 13, my breasts are a bit more developed than those of most girls my age. My mom is very caring and makes me wear bras like in this site http://www.anita.com/de/en/0,1,104,1478,39236__products-detail.htm They have 4 hooks in the back, are good bras but most girls my age wouldn't like them. They make me sweat but it was mom decision, her law. I did everything I could but she didnt back off. Though this makes me mad,she's a wonderful mom, I avoided fighting to much and ended up promising I'd always wear them as I was told. I lost the battle, not even mom's friends couild convince her. And my dad told me to listen to her cause she loves me. I know, but hate those bras. Since I lost the battle, mom won't really back off, I'd like some tips on how I can get used to those bras, especially when it's hot. They make me sweat. and have 4 hooks in the back, kinda hard to put on. But it's my mom bra law.

I have made it quite clear that i don't want anything to do with my child's mother. The child was concieved out of pure sex and not love. She is unable to seperate how i feel about her and how i feel about the child. She decided to come off the pill without telling me and trapped me as a result. Now that the child is there i want to be a part of his life but not hers. i don't want to go the legal road because i don't think a judge should say today is Wednesday you can see your child.. I pay child support and i am never late with my payments. she won't even answer her phone to let me know how he is.
