Family - November 2006

My family is annoying. Every time I try to say something or try to make a compromise with a family member, they always manage to make me guilty by turning things around to suit their needs instead of compromising. So is your family annoying as much as mine?

My mum and I are quite close but last night she said a couple of things that made me feel a bit, actually i don't know how I feel!
She told me that i was a great disappointment to her and my dad and she hoped I would have aspired to better things. When I asked what she meant she said that I would have had a better job (i'm a teacher) and that everything I do wasn't something she could be proud of. I'm 32 years old, disabled and she says I could have made more of my life. I could understand it if I still lived with them but I moved out when I was 17 years old...

I always look forward to them but then stress my self out totally. I want everything to be perfect. Plus 2 years ago FIL died on December 17 and the last year my father died the same day, my uncle died on November 30 last year also.

My parents anniversary is on the 16th and I'm at a loss as to what to get them. Last year, I had a picture frame engraved with their names and anniversary celebration. I'm pretty crafty and was thinking about making them something, but am not sure what to make. Online I saw throws that were monogrammed, but the shipping wouldn't get here until after the anniversary. Any ideas?

My husband has a lg collection of toys (bedrm wall to wall packed) His mother let this happen in her house. Dating I said I would end the relationship due to immaturity of living at home buying toys instead of saving money for the future. He stopped buying and advised me he would get ride it. We are now married and he never got rid of the stuff however I am not letting it move in with me. His mother didn't want it and passed the toys to another family member without husbands consent. The people are alluding to the fact he should take it. If these people didn't want it then they should have not accepted it only to harass my husband or send it back to where it came from. It’s causing a rift with me and his family because I feel they think I should give live with it. His mother let this happen in her home she can deal with it with my husband. Just because I married him doesn’t mean I will let what she aloud to happen in my home.

I havent seen my little brother in over 7 years. My mom claims she has no contact information on him. He lives with his dad. His dads name is BILL MARTIN...I tried to people search him, but the name is too generic...I got over 2000 matches. My brother is Justin Brian Martin, and his birthday is November 19...I cant look him up because he is only 16 (well he will be in a few days). I dont want him to grow up thinking that his family does not care about him because of my stupid mom. Please help...anybody know him??? What can I do? I dont even know what state they stay in. I dont have any SSN's either.

I don't get in troubles, get good grades and have a kinda good relatioinship w/ my parents. I talk to them and never lie. But saturday I ended up giving in to per pressure, joined a crowd my parents don 't ike that much and went on a motorcylcke ride w/ a 15 yo boy. Murphy law, we had a small accident. Nothing seriuos, I just hurt my knee a bit. My dad saw, asked what had happened,. I was so ashamed that I said I had slipped on a stair. He said Oh hun, washed my wound, put a medicine on it. I felt terribly bad cause I was lying, and even worse cause dad gave me a kiss and said Now it won't hurt any more. Well, apparently everthing is OK, but my conscience hurts really bad. My parents are nice, trust me, dad belived me though my shirt was torn, and I wasn't enough honest to admit I had messed up. I can't sleep, but Im kinda ashamed. Should I tell them the truth and apologize? I'm afraid they do'nt trust me any more. Should I be punished?

I have thiis friend, who has a son who just graduated from AFB training facility. He's an only child, spoiled, now hes more or less on his own. However, his parents takes care of his bank statements, covering O.D.'s. He knows how to work his parents. He has top of the line etc. He now wants laptop, I guess my question is why would he need a laptop, would it be for the simple fact that he has access to computer options like games, chat rooms, etc. Anyone with any ideas please write.

A relative of mine just found out that her grandfather has sexually touched her daughter ,she also said he done it to her growing up she will not turn him in to the law we have talked to a friend who is with the law and he says she will have to do this does any one know how we could turn this situation in with out her knowing it was our family we feel this situation needs taking care of and there has to be smothing done to stop this man before he hurts another child!!

my husband will be going off for work for a long time. it could take months.. maybe a yr . We're not sure.I know he will come back to me as soon as he can , but before he leaves , i want to do some things for him so he will come back to me as soon as possible.He is not with me now.i cant call him but he can hear me , i have a mic and a cam.We are still keeping contact with each other but in 2 weeks time , chances of us talking to each other wont be much maybe not at all.We are having a very hard time facing this. & I want to thank you for all your effort and help.

I have been with my husband for 2 years now we seperated 4 months and we got back together then got married Jan 13. I have a 11 year old daughter. Yes she can be snotty but my husband gets on to her so often like everytime she doesn't say something his way. And when she wants something he will say well why does she need it. It is really starting to bother me bad. My daughter is my sunshine. She has gone threw so much already. And I feel that I have so much to make up to her. I use to use meth but been clean now for 2 years and still going strong my child never seen me use but I wasn't there for her. And I gotta make that up. But I feel when he gets on to her everyday she is gonna recent him bad.I love my husband very much andf I love my daughter very much but this situration I am in is driving me crazy what should I do?????????????????????????????????

I played a prank on her where I had a friend of mine who is 18 buy the biggest dildo he could find. I hid it under her bed just before going to school and when my mom was doing her daily cleaning, she found it. She had a talk with my sister right after we got home from school and my sister was mad at me. So to make things right and appologize, I had my same friend buy a slightly smaller one and I went to my sisters room. I told her I was sorry for making mom think she was loose and offered her the new one. I told her that should be about right size, she punched me in my chest and threw me out of her room, and slammed the door in my face. I was just trying to make things better between us.
