my parents are very well off and my bf and i have high paying jobs. he grow up in a family with little money and had a really bad childhood. me on the other hand had the best childhood. like every child i didnt get everything i wanted and had to get a job to get the money i wanted to buy whateva i wanted at the time. i beleive if you know what is right form wrong and you treat everyone the same you will be happy money or no money.
Yes by my parents having money i have that as a back up but i never abuse that. im 20 now and wouldnt want to change anything. i would give up everything fo rmy family and if we lost everything we would be just as happy as we are know.

I worked for a well to do family once on their farm. They did not have much of a family life. The grandmother lived in a house on the farm and her kids and grandkids did not help her with little things like mowing the yard or shoveling snow. In fact they dont include her in most events unless her presence is required. I have known many other wealthy families and they also have dysfunctional families. I know many middle class down to poverty level families that its obvious family is their strength. I would say that money corrupts even into familial relations

While I am not really rich I am happy and I live very comfortably. Yes I did grow up with a wealthy father, but let me tell you now. Money Does Not Buy Happiness. My father was never around because he chose to be wealthy instead of happy.

Yes, I'd think so. At least if they are not they've got the money to get away and go on holiday if they aren't.

do you ever read the newspaper, etc.? just because you are rich does not mean you are happy. when we do stupid things we are called crazy when a rich person does stupid things they are called eccentric!

If you aren't happy with out the money >>what makes the difference with the money.....it just makes life easier.
