Im afraid my sister will get killed one day!!Her bf is abusive he get's jealous of her being around people.And secretly abuses her.I cant stand him he's to demanding and threatens her in front of me and my kid's.Anyone else whos suffering the same sympton's dont be ashamed to share.

Friend problem

I have this friend.. we known cmg to 5 years..she mad at me for not contributing with my other friends on her birthday gift and i did not turn up for her birthday dinner.
1st thing : i have no idea when the dinner was i mean no one updated me on the details. the organiser(one of my friends too) told the rest that i was uncontactable .. i mean to me, one of them can just always email me if cannot get me through phone .. im also on msn n some of dem were also online but no one approached me.
ok i knew that her birthday was near frankly speaking i cant remember the exact date. i mean i cant even remmber all of my friends birthdays.. now this birthday girl making such a big deal about me not givign her presents n stuff.. recently i got to know that she deleted me from her msn list.

This girl I am friends with has had an on going problem with her ex-boyfriend for sometime now. They dated and were sexually active and he got her pregnant and she aborted the kid. Somehow he still has naked pictures of her and threatens to show her parents if she doesnt answer the phone when he calls or doenst hang out with him everytime he asks. Everytime he calls her he yells at her and curses at her and makes her feel bad. She has told me that he has ruined friendships between her and other people and has made problems between her and her family. And now this kid is sending me messeges on myspace threatening me that if I dont tell him what her and I are doing he is going to show her parents the pictures of him and her. Her parents are unaware that she is sexually active and is scared and is afraid to tell her parents because they will get mad. She is 17 and her exboyfriend is 16.

I have decided to get my Christmas shopping done early, but I have absolutley no idea what to get my little 10 year old sis! I don't really want to get her a toy or stuffed animal, because she really doesn't use/play with them so it would just collect dust. I need a non-toy, under $30-40 gift. Suggestions, anyone?

How do you avoid no win situations within the family? What do you do if you are asked a whopping big favour which you are unhappy about accepting because it's cheeky, really inconvenient and involves risk? If you don't agree you're mean, if you do agree the favour is stretched (give a inch, they take a mile etc) and you end up having to deal with the fall out. Either way your family think bad of you. Should you give the favour and just accept their cheek or try to put your foot down. If you put your foot down how do you do it without looking mean and unreasonable? Oh and how do you get people to see your point of view when they are convinced the request wasn't cheeky, inconvenient or risky?

I don't actually have kids (you can thank me later).

These should be done around age five or six, when the child is old enough to be attached, but young enough that they're still being formed as a person.

1. Send the kid's other parent on vacation for six months. Tell the child that the parent is dead and they'll never see him/her again. Once the kid has resumed smiling, bring the other parent back. Do it again with the other parent, but this time you'll have to be more convincing. Make them look covered in blood and give them drugs to temporarily slow down their pulse and lower their body temperature.

2. Give away the dog. Then serve roast beef for dinner and tell the kid that you killed the dog and are serving it for dinner. Make him/her eat every last bite. Repeat if necessary.

What was your favorite bedtime/childhood song your parents used to sing to you? Mine was "A Tiny turned up nose." (used to make me bawl). I also loved "you're some ugly!"

she isn't walking yet, but crawls real well, pulls herself up on furniture, climbs like a monkey, sometimes takes a few steps, but now her crawling has gone from hands a knees to hands and feet, she actually "looks" like a monkey. Has anyone ever seen this before and does this mean something, like she's getting her feet ready for walking??
