This girl I am friends with has had an on going problem with her ex-boyfriend for sometime now. They dated and were sexually active and he got her pregnant and she aborted the kid. Somehow he still has naked pictures of her and threatens to show her parents if she doesnt answer the phone when he calls or doenst hang out with him everytime he asks. Everytime he calls her he yells at her and curses at her and makes her feel bad. She has told me that he has ruined friendships between her and other people and has made problems between her and her family. And now this kid is sending me messeges on myspace threatening me that if I dont tell him what her and I are doing he is going to show her parents the pictures of him and her. Her parents are unaware that she is sexually active and is scared and is afraid to tell her parents because they will get mad. She is 17 and her exboyfriend is 16.

The responses are good but is there anything in the legal aspect of things that she or her parents can do. The thing is what can be done to have this kid just stop calling and leaving messeges and leaving the family alone? Reasonable things that dont compromise her having to change numbers and all that. He lives in PA about less than an hour away and she lives in NJ.

she made a mistake when allowed her boyfriend to take naked pictures of her, she is 17 and her boyfriend could be charged for possession of child porn, I had same problem, I got into a fight with my g/f was angry and screwed with the other girl in motel and while I was sleeping she took pics of me and showed them to my g/f, after that my g/f didn't talk to me for weeks, but I didn't consider that as cheating cuz I broke up with my g/f at that time, so from now on no more pictures for me, you never know when it will be used against you.
The guy is only 16 who the hell does he think he is? If I were you I would get some old guys age 20 and up, get them to find that guy and put soldering iron up his ***, trust me he'll give you everything back and forget her phone number, be a man, help your friend
p.s. don't forget about the negatives

What she needs to do is trick him. She should tell him that she was tired of all the threats, so she told her parents EVERYTHING so that he would finally leave her alone. He might not believe her. If he doesn't he'd probably act like hes going to show them anyways, to check her reaction. She should just act cool about it like it doesn't matter because they know. What she should do is keep all his voicemails, emails, and messages and threaten to show his parents about his little threats. If she has to go there. Or she can just tell one of the guidance counselors from school so that maybe they can have a chat with him and advise him.

Sorry to say this, nut have her tell the parents everything. sure they will be angry but there here parents. the parents are on her side no matter what and then they can take appropriate actions against this hoodlum punk. If this does not work try getting a restraing order from the courts.

I guess she has to decide which is worse, the pictures or the possibility that he is a nutcase and will one day hurt her. I know she doesn't want to tell her folks, but which is worse? Them seeing sexually compromising pics of her, or having to identify her body in a morgue when he goes off his nut and kills her?
As a parent, I'd get over the photo's eventually, I would never get over the loss of my daughters. She needs to tell them, and then they need to go to the police. He's dangerous.

she is almost grown and i think i would just tell my parents so something can be done about him because he may be or become violent and if he 's doing those things you described she doesn't need to be with someone like that.
