You've answered your own question. You said 'my baby's daddy', you didn't describe a relationship you are having with him, but only that he's a sperm donor. Don't wait for him, find someone who love you and who you can love in return.

You should totally stay in touch with him. In twenty five years, he could change, go back to school, get a career and support you and your child working as a high-powered attorney. Stick with him!
Just kidding! I hope this question isn't serious. If it is, are you really that stupid to make a real decision based upon the things people say on this thing? However, I'm sure most of the answers here are pretty reasonable since it only requires basic common sense to answer your question.
Good luck.

Do you love him ? Ask your self that first . You know what you should do . It happened to me , my husband armando whent to prison for drug dealing months before that he was on the drugs .I couldnot take it any more . that day at court when he was taken into custody , I knew that I never wanted to see him again and that prison was the only way that I could get him out of my heart. Sure I loved the guy he is the father of my son, but unfotunately He couldn't kick the drugs. I'm now in a new relationship four years later as far as I've heard he is still in jail but thats his proublem now . I can forgive him but thats about it .Because ther was also vilence involved in our marrage I could never get back together with him ,and I'm all the more happier for making the right choice ,besides what kind of life would we have had, I don't even want to imagine that.

What do you have to gain by staying loyal to him and keeping in touch. If you just want to keep in touch, fine. But he won't be there for you or the baby. You are better off finding someone else. You can do the math. The kid will be an adult by the time dad gets out.

You really should be asking, is that the type of person you want as a role model for your child? Once he does get out, he probably will be so messed up from being in there that it will not be safe for your child. Plus, do you really want to take your bub to prison every week? Thats going to do some phsycological damage. Not to mention the teasing from other children and the judging from the childrens parents.

If you don't give up and move far away he might get out early and you could be the next murder that puts him in the pin.

you have to look at what is best for you and the baby what is in for murder for was it justified and do you love him enough to wait if it were me I would end the relationship that I had with this man as I now need to provide a future for my child but would ask him if he wants to have a relationship with his child as its only fair to give him that.even if its just letters etc to let the child know that there loved b both of you. do whats best for you and baby and go on with your life and make a changes show the kid how to be someone to be proud of in life and start fresh

hello he is in for murder, are you crazy, do you want him around your son, then on the other hand, will it make it worse for him, and the baby in the long run, maybe you staying in touch will help him change..I don't know that is a tough one, I'd have to know the whole story to answer fully.

It all depends on how u feel about him and the kind of life you want to give to your new baby...im sorry to say this, but only u can make this decision bc other wise u'll always regret not having done it yourself.
All i can say it take care of your baby, for he/she is the only ray of light that will always shine on you and you must do whatever you think necessary inorder to ensure his/her well being.

Why would you want to keep in touch with a murderer? Get on with your life!
