I have decided to get my Christmas shopping done early, but I have absolutley no idea what to get my little 10 year old sis! I don't really want to get her a toy or stuffed animal, because she really doesn't use/play with them so it would just collect dust. I need a non-toy, under $30-40 gift. Suggestions, anyone?

If she likes perfumes or lotions a nice gift card for her to shop and get the things she would like. At that age they thing it is a big deal to shop!!!

If she doesn't already have one you can get her a cheap MP-3 player I have seen them in stores for like 19.99. I know my 11 year old son loves his and that is the retail price of his. Then she can burn her own music to it, or you can even get her a card for the internet that she can burn from it.

Does she listen to music, CD's(or burn them yourself of some of her favorites), also a lot of times just spending time alone with her doing something together is the best gift of all.(Take her out to the arcade, eat, movie, etc!!!)

two presents....one girlie sisterly make-up stuff like fake tatoo or body glitter or body paint. and the other is gift certificate to a bookstore. we need more smartie girlies in this world..

When my nieces were ten I bought them a good dress set - mirror, brush and comb.

hey why don't you ask her what she likes---make your job easier, but if you don't want to--clothes is highly recommended
