9:00 pm and when you set the time do not back down or let them keep stalling . Tell them at 8:30 that if they need a drink that now is the time . If they need to talk to you about something this is the time ... get the idea . Children need to learn disipline .

Probably around 8:00. (or even 7:30) kids need lots of sleep.

Ive got 2 kids ages 12 and 5. They both go to bed @ 9pm and are up @ 6:30am.

father of three school age'd children i put mine to bed at 8:00 pm somtimes 7:00 if ive had a realy rough day at work and every ones home work is done.

Kids at this age still need to get lots of rest. Their bodies use a lot of energy during the day and the rest is very good for them.

8:30 sounds good to me. At least that is when I was in bed at that age. In the summer it was an hour longer just because it was also brighter outside and you can't sleep when the sun is still shining in your bedroom!
