My wife and I are at odds with her daughter who is my stepdaughter. She is 17, dropped out of school in 9th grade, doesn't work anymore, disrespects us, is dirty, parties 24/7, etc. My stepdaughter and I got in a huge fight little over a month ago and she got thrown out. She was staying at a friends but just got thrown out of there too for the same bullshit. Now my wife says she might let her come back home since she thinks my stepdaughter won't have anywhere to go and feels bad or something since that is her daughter after all. I say that I won't live in a household like it was before and that my stepdaughter has to get a dose of real life. This circus with this girl has gone on for years and now we don't have to deal with it anymore legally since the cops say she is of age not being in school. Do you choose to bring her back in and probably risk the same crap as before or do you keep her out and hope that she learns to change?
p.s.-i also have impressionable 12 yr old stepson at hm

I got married 3.5 yrs. before, I found my wife very hyper & hash to everyone
In my family. So many times I tried to make her understand but she refuses to listen to me
As her stubborn nature. I’m a social businessman but she never understands my problems
& difficulties.Becase of her this aggressiveness I lost my newly born baby.
Now she blames on me for this accident every time. After this I underwent to depression.
But still her behavior is same. (After 2 months of my marriage we found she is suffering from psoriasis so I took her to Doc.he told us the treatment will start after pregnancy
Then after all these I took her to Doctor He said while the course of medi. We should not try for baby, but even she does not take the medicines)

Once I tried to tell my in-laws about my problem but they
Again blamed me for these all.
These all happened 2 yrs. back, after these all her mother got sick seriously (she loves her widow mother lie anything)
She stayed couple of months with her. When she came back again she is behaving same.
Kindly help me How to solve this problem as I can't discuss this with my mother-in-law & other relations.

i am a stay at home mom for my one yr old, and my two yr old. right now, it is too expensive for daycare where i live, so if i went back to work i would be bringing home about 20$ a month. i wouldnt mind basically working for free, as i love my job, and i am not stay at home material (kudos goes to all who are) as i frequently feel stifled in this atmosphere. does anyone have any ideas on how i can convince my husband that not all families benefit from having a homemaker? i can feel myself getting more resentful that he works, and gets to leave the house.

My brother just had a short talk with my dad this afternoon & he told him that am a "Total failure" in life just because i previously failed to finish college when i was supposed to a few years ago. But that was so unfair of him to say because i resumed college last year & hope to graduate anytime soon. Am sorry to say this but he's always been a very critical person & hadly appreciates anything i do. Do you think its because of his own insecurities?
I have held a good job for the last 2 years & perform really well. My boss & clients like me alot & am truly grateful for that.
When my brother called & told me what my dad said, i didn't get annoied though was hurt to hear that. Am proud of myself that i haven't got annoied & don't plan to because i have matured & don't have time to hold grudges with people. Life is too short for that. I moved out of home a few years ago but visit my parents some weekends & am shocked that they felt about me this way all along. I have a step mum ..hmm!

never worked before so I had a casual look, you know, jeans & tennis shoes & that, & when I had to get a job I started buying clothes for the office & had to wear make up, which I had never done, so I didnt have much idea about this stuff, I've tried to do my best, bearing in mind that it’s a small office & that people don't go dressed & made up as if they worked for Donald Trump. My mom keeps telling me that i should buy elegant suits & fancy clothes & that i should use more make up & that i should try more hairstyles (she has the farrah fawcet style) & well I'm no gisele bundchen, but i feel good, i like the way i look & the clothes i wear & i admit i'm not that comfortable wearing the office clothes, but hey! i'm new at this & she makes me feel i have no style at all, & smtimes she makes me feel so bad i dont even wanna go to work, sometimes when she's telling me all this i tell her i feel fine & she gets offended & stops, but the next day its all the same, what's wrong with her?

At my house I'm the one that takes care of everything. I clean the house, mow the yard and take care of the animals and I'm only 15. I've been doing all of that since I was 11. Well this year I rebelled against my parents and lost my virginity to someone that I didn't really like. I’m 41 as of Sept.16th. (Happy b-day to me) out of work, no inc.getting ready 2 tack G.E.D.test, have to put my 80y.o.mother into a home do to alzheimer's, two mounts behind on rent. I have a 7 y.o.girl and a 4-y.o.boy.last night at 2:30a my wife told me, one more is on the way. Were happy but im starting to panick.i need some pen pals to chat with to. Just to vent. I have a big family, alot of brothers and sisters! But about maybe 12 or 13 days ago we had 2 deaths! My youngest brother needs some help, but there's no way to get him that help! I'm having trouble contact anyone! anyway so I was wandering if maybe someone could possibly talk to him on the internet! He won't talk to anyone else and I don't know why! i'm afraid that they'll be out of control teens or something that i'm not capable of handling. i'm sure there are soon to be parents out there with the same thoughts or at least parents that have already gone through such a thing, and some that have thought of it, but everything turned out okay. but how can i just put that in the past and get down to thinking straight and being a parent. i just want to be the best i can for my child and a future family.

Ok, this has to do with my husbands and my bills and us trying to get back ahead on bills and savings.
We haven't gone out to eat (something not a luxory for us, it was something we did every night), we are buying groceries for breakfast lunch and dinners, we are not buying beer four times a week like we were I limited us to once a week, i have not gone shopping in who knows how long (well except for groceries)........ I not going to Express and buying hundreds of dollars of clothes and going to Clinique and spending money on makeup... i am usin walmart brands etc.....
Ok, that is the background of my question........ Why am doing all these things (cause guess who cooks everynight??) and making all these sacrifices, if my husband gets to use the toll roads costing us $120.00 a month just to make it home 30 minutes faster? And why does he get to go to home depot and buy tools and things he could borrow from someone?
Do you think he should be limited too?

I am 18 and with little or no social life or even contact. My parents never let me do anything in high school like going to the mall exc. or movies with friends. I am not kidding i only ever saw my friends at school and a bf was out of the question. I made a few attempts but at 17 they were still asking to meet my friends parents and giving my friends the 5th degree so most did not even want to visit me. My dads motto was school is not for socializing. Senior year i barley was allowed to go to homecoming but i did meet a bf there and well messed things up badly with a pregnancy scare drama which led to complete isolation. I was never a bad kid and always kept good grades and never snuck out or did anything. I am now in my first year of college doing well so far but feel out of place socially. I only really have three friends two are still in highschool and i feel lost and angry with my parents. I feel socially cripled but they pay for my college tuition.

My mother and I have always been like bes friends always together, if she needs something i am there and the same the other way around, but lately she has been spending all of her time with a older sister that has never been there for her when she needed someone and could care less what happens to mother, all she is after is what mother can give her, you see my mother has lupus and a lot of health problems and gets all sorts of pain meds each month and my sister is a drug head, so all she is after is mothers meds. she has done this over and over to mother, when mother will not give her anymore she stays away for a few weeks and them comes around again and all the while she is around mother seems to forget i exist and is hateful to me about everything when she does speak to me but when she is gone again it is me mother comes crying to. My question is should i say something to mother about how she treats me or should i just let it go cause as i have said before she is a sick woman.
