she isn't walking yet, but crawls real well, pulls herself up on furniture, climbs like a monkey, sometimes takes a few steps, but now her crawling has gone from hands a knees to hands and feet, she actually "looks" like a monkey. Has anyone ever seen this before and does this mean something, like she's getting her feet ready for walking??

My daughter and my nephew did the same thing. She should start walking any day now! Maybe she is trying to walk but does not know enough to stand herself up. She will catch on eventually.

Mostly it sounds like it is normal. But just to make sure, check out her legs, usually children will try to use their hands more then their feet when they'll have less strenth or pain or anything like that in their legs.

every child starts out different.start by holing both hands and walk with her.help her don't call her a monkey.
