my son wanted me to call out of work for him-he was just rehired 2 wks ago-he had to be in work 6am and took a medication he knew would keep him up all night-he wanted be to lie and say he had to take me to the hospital-i told him it would be better for him to call since at his age coming from his mom would sound lame-he became angry and irate-he did call and make up a story and he said he would now be fired and it would be my fault because of his past call out history with this company--i feel guilt about this--he has been out of work since last october and when he reapplied to the company they rehired him-should i feel this guilt? i myself am on medical leave from my job and the stress of this situation is making matters worse for me and my 18 yr old son--any serious advice please!!

Isn't it bad to be a happy single woman through all my life? I love my boy friend but I have no plan to marry him because I love the present status and enjoy my life. However, people around me push me to get married with him. It becomes a pressure to me because what I have to face is two families and coming burden to raise child. So, should I get married?

My mother-in-law is a complete alcoholic control freak. Normally she is 2000 miles away from us so I am not too bothered but:: I feel her presence even when she is not here. I have a career. In addition, my husband and I exercise at least 30 hours a week (bike riding, jogging) what have you. We also have a side business to help us hopefully one day retire. My husband also likes to do outside activities like go to plays, symphonies, or whatever. What I am trying to say is that we are very busy. We have a hard time taking off work for vacation but we try twice a year (one major, and one minor). However my mother-in-law thinks we should spend our vacation with her even though her husband (she has never worked) is retired. I try to give her this time. However she turns sometimes into a complet witch! I also feel her presence in my house every day because she is a big chef (she has the time) and my husband tries to be this way too. Our kitchen is alway messy and I am exhausted

She has a drivers licence, no boyfriends, no problems with alcohol or drugs, great student, We are very close almost like best friends, It feels abnormal and I feel so fortunate, Sometimes she is so close that I need a break and I feel guilty. What does implantation bleeding look like? Can it be light brown? I had a discharge after my period is about two weeks late now. There was very little of it and it was slimy and meduim to light brown. Could this be implantation bleeding?

What would be the best thing to say to reassure her that everything's going to be okay?

Some things to consider:
- It's her second son. The older son goes to a state college and commutes from home.
- The son's school is 3 hours away.
- The son is a good kid (so she doesn't have to worry about him too much).
- I'm the girlfriend of her older son, but we're very close. She treats me like family.

I have noticed more and more that kids are really acting up in public. When they become teens they have absolutely no respect for anyone. As a teen I was rambunctious but I always had respect for the elderly and the general public. I got my butt whooped regularly, not in an abusive way. Some of these kids need a good whipping. Don't you agree?
Should we start spanking our kids again? Timeout doesn't work.

I understand why they are acting that way 'coz I'm the only girl child that they have...but it's so unfair!!! I wanted to feel how it's like to be a teenager....I wanted to go out with friends late at night...I wanted to break free...I wanted to be like those other kids who are free to have boyfriend and girlfriend things...and their parents are very supportive with that....I wanted to tell them bout this thing but I'm scared...I don't want to disappoint them....help!!!
