Did you have any problems because one or both of your parents did not want to let you leave home and/or let you have a relationship or get married, if so how did you deal with your parent/s ? what did you do so that you could have the life you wanted ?

I have a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. They are forever fighting and wrestling all day long. Someone always ends up in tears. I've read that they fight to get my attention, but they fight even when I'm not around. Some say it's boredom, but even if I distract them into other activities it's only a matter of time until they're back at each other again. Any suggestions to help this would be welcomed!!

I`ve been living for about 6 months in another country far away from my boyfriend and now I found out he had sex with another girl. He doesn`t know that I know, he says he loves me everyday on the phone.
And I was furious at first but I still love him. What should I do? Should I tell him I know? How can I trust him after that?
We were really serious about our relationships and were thinking of getting married..

I know some people, who have huge homes, with 8 bedrooms, 3 front rooms, 5 bathrooms.. You know the kind of excessive mansion..

Now i wouldnt mind, if they had 1 spare room, but most of these people hardly ever use, at least half the rooms in their home.

When i look for a flat, I want 3/4/5 rooms based on price

A studio is fine, then you dont have to clean extra rooms.

If i ever buy a home, I would like 2 bedrooms, and a front room.

But why oh why do so many people lust after houses, that are so hugh? Why, is the humble home such a dream of opulence for some people?

I just dont get the want for extra bathrooms, and perhaps a library/study/gym/pool... Surely thats a hotel.

Surely they can find some better use for their money, instead of just buying posessions?

I know some rich people, who spend more than 3 times monthly, on general bills, than i do on rent.

I know a girl who spent £3k on a bed, i mean how, my first reaction, was i could buy 6 cars for that money.

Actually soon to be mother in law. i have lived with my boyfriend and his family for three years now. I cant stand his mother. I obviously love my boyfriend because i am still here. She is very too faced. and everything she hates she is. She told my boyfriend before she would have cared less if i moved out because she didnt like me at all and now she wants him to be nicer to me because we have invested time in this relationship( we were going to split) shes nice to me to myface and then my sister in law tells me everything she says behind my back i have also read it on messanger. She has told my soon to be sister in law that she hopes her son never marrys her....do i want her to end up telling me the same? i dont talk to her much and my boyfriend i dont care for her much...he wants to live here another 2 years to finish school....i want to marry her son and laugh in her face....am i doing the right thing? or should i try to get her to like me?

So at some point, i may have kids, but so far, my main worry, is having them in this country.. The school system sucks, eg sweedish/japanese or even american, are so much better. And i mean, 2 years for GCSE's try 6 months. This whole bringing in new laws at midnight on a sunday, like this new car seat thing, what the hell. Having to let a health visitor in.. Most of them say having an animal with a young child is dangerous.. Most english kids seem like wild animals, who watch tv, beg for electronics, and hang on street corners, breaking things, whilst having a cig....

They cant have respect for the government, the teachers have given up, nobody can disiplin them.

We have no control over things like going to war, or laws imposed, or the millions of pounds of tax spent stupidly....

TV, is teaching a slutty, violent, egotistical, yet frightened attitude..

I really cant justify having kids in england, maybe canada... Maybe even the USA, and i really dont want to live there

Theres an item on Yahoo news that says we should encourage our children to drink in moderation and be responsible. Like the continent, we should let kids consume a glass of wine at meal times. This is in an effort to control teenage binge drinking.

I have to say I agree. I have given my daughter beer at christmas (no, not a pint. Just a small glass) because she's been curious, and actually enjoys it. I've also taught her about the effects of alcohol, what it do'es to you when you are drunk. Also how dangerous it can be.

She is also well aware that when she eventually go'es clubbing, she should buy bottles, keep them with her at all times and dance with her thumb over the open neck. To dissuade Mr Rohynol, and the phantom drink snatchers. ha

Seriously though, do you think children could do with abit of parent advice and interaction, since I remember 2 girls died, after drinking a bottle of vodka between them, having no idea that too much could actually poison you?

In our culture it is not illegal or immoral and it is possible as long as you have permission from your previous wife. I do have permision and I want to have two wives.
I have children and I want to have one more with my new wife. Graduated with PhD from US, my income is sufficient and I am living In Iran now but I might travel to US.

I just turned 20 and my lil sis is 14. She's aready 5'6.5 and i'm 5'2. yesterday we got into an unintentional game of mercy. she was squeezing my hand so tight until i gave up but she wouldn't let go until i begged. I guess she just wanted me c me cry or something. i liked it better when she was shorter and couldn't intimidate me. maybe one day i'll be taller than her if she stops growing.

I made a new friend at work (only known her 3 weeks) and we have decided to go out one night after work to see a show/meal. She is about 15 years older than me and when I told my mother about her she said, "We'll see how long that will last". I don't know what to think of this or how to deal with this. Any feedback would be gratefully appreciated.
