A old photo of the two of you (when you were much younger) .. place it into a beautiful frame. It will always bring back memories for the rest of his life.

Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brilliant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

It depends what he likes, music get him a cd from the 70`s, football an old video of his favourite team something from that era when he was teen/twenty. But whatever you buy him it won`t mean as much as the knowledge that you love him enough to find out what would make him happy and I am sure that a big kiss and hug from his daughter will put a huge smile on his face on for the whole day of his birthday.

Well it says you are from India, I am guessing that maybe your father is Hindu or Seek? Maybe you can do some research and find out if there is something culturally signifigant that you could get for a man of that age. If not, just get him a new putter ,if he is into golf.

I can't speak for your father, but If my kid were to come up to me and hug me real hard and kiss my cheek and say "I love you daddy" It would be the happiest day of my life.
