I have taken my son swimming, skating, library, music gymboree, anything else I can imagine. He is only 1 years old. My husband always decides to go to work and not interact with us on the weekends. I try to tell him how I feel but he gets angry and I feel like it is just his needs in his life and not anyone elses. Is there anything I can do?

My mother gets bad headaches everyday, does that mean something? I'm really worried about her and she says it has nothing to do with her job as a paralegal. She doesn't drink or anything, I don't know what it could be. She's 43 years old.

We have a very close relationship, always talking, phoning and seeing each other, and without having to supply massive detail or reason, she's having a very tough time of it at the moment (and I mean visits from the baliffs, eviction notices etc), AND I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS THROUGH NO FAULT OF HER OWN. Although I'm trying to be supportive as I can, and do as much as I can, it feels as if she has cut me off - she won't talk to me etc and I want to be there for her, but it seems she's having none of it - it feels like she's turning into a recluse. She has medical issues which I feel are being exagerated by all the stress she is under. What can I do to make her know I'm here and I care? I don't want her to be doing this on her own.

Serious answers only please, I don't need people lecturing, or shouting put-downs or insults, as I haven't been able to explain the whole history or situation. Thanks.

I was in a great relationship with a Latin American girl I met whilst studying abroad, and we lived together for three months during my last year at University in the UK. Coming here to stay with me was a big sacrifice for her in the first place - living with a boyfriend is not the 'done thing' over there.

Unfortunately, after this time our money ran out and she had to go back home. So we ended up in a long distance relationship, which we both found way too stressful as we had no idea when we might be able to see each other again, and ended up splitting up. Now I'm back home living with my one parent who is on a very low income. I have a temporary job which is pretty much full time until I find something related to my degree. My girlfriend's parents think we're still together, and she is in a difficult situation. We both care a lot for each other still, and she wants to come and live with me. It would be very difficult, but I think we'd be happy...What's best?

She's 23 years old and in law school, and her dad is paying the full tuition, fees and all her expenses, including credit cards, vacations, and a nice, new relatively expensive car so she doesn't have to start her life after school under the pressure of students loans and debts. But she doesn't pay any attention to what she's spending. She routinely leaves food out of the fridge overnight to go bad, buys expensive clothes she never wears and throws them out with the tags still on them, rents videos and never returns them, and refers to herself as being one of the 'rich kids at school'. While her dad's taking care of her needs out of his feeling of obligation, he's far from rich. Would it be completely out of line for me to try to enforce some discipline? I know the whole evil step-mom scenario. At this rate, her dad will have to work extra years before retiring, and it's not serving her to not learn the value of money or how to budget. The waste is very hard for me to handle.

If my wife says she is going out for ten minutes it usually ends up nearer an hour, if I ask my daughter to do something she always says "in a minute" but she certainley takes longer than that, do they work on their own timescale and wear secret womens watches ?

As the current laws of the land prohibit this I have done some research and come up with a soloution.Theres a latin american country where the regulations are not so strict-as long as the Dad makes the jump with the child its fine.I feel this would toughen up my son as he has started to help his mum round the house with chores.Am I being selfish.

We ended up having sex and he watched. He doesn't know I found out but I found his watch in my closet afterwards. I asked my mom if my dad had gone in my room and she said he had went in there to clean the closet. Should I confront him or just check my closet from now before having sex?

They haven't seen eachother in 10 years do to a falling out. They are meeting at their dad's house about 3 hours away from here. My fiance is taking our 2 yr old son. Should I be offended (like I somewhat am) that he chose not to invite me? Or should I relax and be happy that they are going to have a nice guy bonding weekend? I bet I should be happy for them, right?

Hi yeah I'm very stressed out. First of all I'm 21 years old(just in case you might think I'm a teenager just because I'm asking about a family situation lol) anyway my mom has been going a hundred mile an hour taking care of everybody 24/7(including an 18month old baby which my brother is too selfish to not take her daughter home at night!!!!!!! dude it's not like he's disabled!) anyway her back has been hurtin really bad like back tension, and her doctor even suggested she should take a few days off. Well I can only come home on weekends because I'm going to school, and my dad(who's always been emotionally abusive to her, treating her like a slave), still tells her to do this and that even though he clearly knows she's in pain and bed resting! My pastor's wife offered to take care of Sydnee but my mom of course declined(she called her bawling because she needed someone else to clean the church). Ok running out of characters. Suggestions? What should I do?
