Yikes! That is awful. So, obviously she is worried that her dad will hurt you, but the whole part about dying in her arms tells me that she feels responsible for you, like she needs to look out for you, and be there for you when you fall. I don't know, weird dream.

do you argue in front of her or make spiteful remarks about him when she is around? or maybe he does about you?
on the other hand it might just be a dream.
Just give her a hug and say, "Well at least it wasn't real!"
Even teenagers need hugs, people seem to think that after you reach 13 you don't need to be hugged as often!

but it IS only a dream, don't make a big deal out of it or it will make her read something into it and could make her feel worse! It is only natural to go through strange phases when your parents get divorced.

That.became.Hilarious. I somewhat enjoyed how the daughter wrote down those form of somewhat terrible (or perhaps unlawful) issues in this type of nonchalant way! whilst doubtful, i think of that this could be a manner that any student might desire to apply whilst providing their dad and mom with their document card- whilst it somewhat is undesirable, besides (otherwise i does not recommend which you're taking the possibility of giving them a coronary heart-attack). constructive one!! :)

Thank god they are only dreams. My daughter has had that same dream. I just held her & reminded her it was only a dream . I also reminded her about a dream she had about Jonny Deep wanting a foot rub ( Funny ) I always ask her to rub my feet after a long day of work. She never does but thats why I ask. I love to watch her face when she tries to get out of it.: )

most dreams r an intrepretation of ur deepest fears. maybe her dreams meant that he will take her away from u and her brain just showed it through a dream like this. u cannot take dreams literally. u have to see what they mean. like they way u dies in her arms could simply mean that there was nothing she could do although she was right there

Kids have different abilities and insights.
I'd find a website that does dream interpretations.
Because different things in the dream have total different meanings then what is in it.

i've had dreams in which my parents die..since i don't live with my mom, i would call her right at the moment, if it was about my dad i would wake him up crying...It's only a dream, and eventually we all die....tell her to enjoy you as much as she can...ANother thing that made me realize it was only a dream was different factors in it...i would be in my hometown in places that weren't there anymore..so certain things in memory line might help telling her it's a dream . it's only a dream

Did he leave you? It's a betrayal dream. Dad betrayed mom.
Poor kid. Take her shopping and for an ice cream. Have a fun day!

if it's a recent divorce then she could just be having anxiety over it, she could also be under a lot of stress over something other things. Our minds do weird things when we sleep. If there is a real concern then I'd talk to the police. ( if he was violent or the divorce was bad)
