Daft question but am looking for relatives of Patrick O'Hanlon who moved to New York(?) we think between 1900-1915. Has a relative in New Jersey but don't have any contact details. Patrick was originally from Kilkenny, Ireland.

My Mother usually used Cheer, HOWEVER, we were very poor, so sometimes she bought Duz, because they gave you premiums in the box. If we needed a dish cloth or dish towel, she'd buy the small box. For a face towel she'd buy the medium. For a bathtowel, she'd buy the large. They were nice towels, too, although kinda thin. So what did YOUR Mommy use to get your clothes smelling clean and fresh?

he is now two years old he has not seen his real mom but three to five times in the last year and a half. He calls me mom. my parents seem to have a problem with it I tell them that he is two and doesnt understand the difference because i have been his mom. i stay at home with him day and night and he is around me all the time. Its not like i force him to call me mom or anything. my husband said within time we will tell him the difference that i am not his real mom but that will be when he can understand it. his parents think we should just keep it like it is if he wants to call me mom that is fine but later we should tell him and that it will be his choice to call me mom. I dont know how to get through to my parents and then i dont know if I can take him calling me mom for years to come and then him not wanting to call me mom when he gets older. Broken hearted i will be if that happens . What should i do with my parents

I was at my friend Tamara's house yesterday. Her family is very Christian and usually nice. Her mom overheard me say "b***sh**" and swatted my behind with a wooden spoon and said I should watch my language when I am a guest in someone else's home. I was so startled I said the "s***" word and she swatted me again harder! I told her she had no right to do that and she was like well I am lucky I am not her daughter otherwise she would "really tan my bottom and wash out my mouth with soap." So I said "I am glad you're not my Mom." Then she asked me to leave until I learn some manners and respect and she called my Dad and told him I was rude and need to be punished. She also told my Dad I dress inappropriately, like my jeans and tops are too tight. Now I am grounded tonight and tomorrow...which is way too harsh!. My Dad wants me to apologize to her. I am thinking maybe but she should apologize to me too? I really like Tamara and want to be able to go over there and not feel weird. Unfair!

not ez leaving a long relationship especially when a baby involved
he loves his dad it just no trust and i'm planning to leave him b/c people dont do anything like that if they care about they family he just was trying to sneak but i live with him ans a home that he owns i go to college he pays the bills my bills and i dont have to do anything he is really a good father and my son loves him so much when we gone together he looks for him and that changest his smile to a frown when he is not around i can tell its going to hurt my son he do everything i say do cook basically if i say hope he do it.. what to do i'm still hurt but his friend is a bad influence on him that what make him do things.

my mother is a very conservitive person. she doesn't believe in sex before marriage. My boyfriend, which i have been seeing for almost a year, and I, had recently decided to take that next step in our relationship, and have sex. my mother deserves the right to know, but i don't know how to tell her without hurting her feeling and making her too dissapointed in me.Any suggestions?

earlier today when i was with my father at th e hospital some one passed away, and it was quite suprising that the young lady was smiling at me yesterday and to day she was gone, t made me realise life is quite short, we are here today and tommoro is still a question mark,some lifes left satisfied but some they are so trying to earn a living they forget the simple thigns in life which bring happiness, what do you think and how do you feel about this?

was just in the car with my mom and she was yelling at me and telling me that i didnt matter to her, and how she cant handle me because im too emotional, well i have so much i want to say bck to her, but right now im to hurt to do anything ive been crying since she said that. i dont know what to do, i have a friend who said if im ever threatened by my paretns that she would take me in all i need to do is call, is this threatening?? I need advice from Yahoo answers community. I am thinking of launching this site called Mystudymates.com.

I think students, teenagers especially waste don't gain so much from sites like myspace, friendster, bebo etc. I will like your opinion about a site where students can find study mates with the same goals and vision and help one another out. Your thoughts are appreciated.
