A very profound truth...
Often realized by many but seldom taken to heart...

You have made an excellent point for everyone! We have free will to live our lives any way we wish (and many times we choose to cause a lot of heartache for ourselves and others) but it's so important to not waste a minute of the time given us. There is no guarantee that we'll live to see another day. And what a shame it would be to reach the end of life on this earth and know there were things we should have done; things we should have said to those we love; and forgiveness we should have sought from those we've hurt. Thanks for reminding us to treasure the gift of life!

Life has always hung by thread. My daughter, at age 7, died of a brain tumor. I could have gotten mad at God, shook my fist in His face and blamed Him. However, a year before she died, which was about a month after the first surgery and treatments, she asked Jesus to forgive her sins and He entered her heart to live there. We had a hard year after that, but she had faith I've not seen in many grown-ups. Her favorite verse near the end was II Timothy 4:7-8 which says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day -- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing." I know I shall see her again when Jesus returns to earth again. She now is without any pain, worry, suffering, or tears. I cannot say so for those who die without knowing Jesus as their personal Savior. They will suffer eternity in the Lake of Fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth without any hope or comfort. I hope you do not wind up there.

at least the lady died with someone who smiled at her, and maybe she kept the smile in her heart forever. Maybe that was all she needed, a smile to die happy. Thats the reason why, no matter what u have to enjoy every second of your life. Because the same moment will never be the same even if u try to repeat it thousands of times.
