They are often not stupid just inexperienced and self absorbed..
The latter being something they cannot help. Psychology tests have shown that during this stage adolescents for example have little empathy for others and a high degree of the old angst..
There's an old saying - If only youth knew and age could..
At 30 I might as well go off and die somewhere according to most teenagers since that is SOOOOO old - lol but I have knowledge that they just do not know they do not know!
Give them 10 years and they will be the ones spouting the 'In my day......' and 'Do you remember such and such a kids programme?'
Allow them their temporary duh! stage - and be amused by it..

Like adults some are. Those that are are just immature and want everything they think they need now. If you say no to them they react by saying that you're hassling them.
Teenage stupidity usually passes as the person matures. What sucks is when they grow up to be stupid adults.

Excuse me but you really shouldn't say that because not all teenagers are stupid. I am far from stupid, and I'm 15.

Teenagers are not stupid, they are that age when they are not expected to act like children, and have no experience of the adult world.

LMFAO....I ask myself the same ******* question all of the time. Exactly...they are children in adult bodies....they want privledges but don't wanna have to work for them.....and **** dating teenagers.....they never know what they're looking for in a relationship so it's doomed from the start. I agree....teenagers are stupid....good call!

Because they're still growing up, figuring things out, and they haven't had the benefit of years of classes in The School of Hard Knocks that older adults have had.
