Family - July 2006

i got very bad for my exam results in june and my mum told me to choose one. Either caning the buttocks 20 times or caning the calf muscle ( like the 'jewel in the palace' girl when she was young ) 20 times. Which one do i choose?

I have 2 kids (1 and 3 yo) and work full time 5 days a week. I have been relying on takeout but I would like to start providing my family with home-cooked meals. I leave the office at 5, buy quick takeout and pick up kids, arriving home at 6:15, kids already hungry by then. My son eats v-e-r-y slowly and we usually finish dinner by 7:30. Quality time with family until 8, then baths and bedtime. Both kids are in bed by 9:30. Then house chores until about 10, later if there is laundry. By then I am usually tired and wanting to relax.

Where do you other working parents get time to cook?? Specific schedules will help! Thanx!

I don't want to do anything without my parents permission because i don't want to hurt them.But I also can't cheat my BF feelings because he told me that he can't live without me.I am extremely in a condition of perplexity.In one side my parents and other side my love.I don't think a life without anyone of them.What i have to do in this situation?Help me.

My daughter does not seem motivated to do anything even if it's something fun like going to the beach. A few times a week she wakes up crying and it continues all the way to daycare. Her school or daycare hasn't mentioned any problems she's been having and sometimes as soon as she gets in the car, the grumpyness starts again. I only work till 6pm so I have my evenings to spend with her and her brother and we go to the park or run errands together before going home for supper. She hardly eats too and I make healthy food and try to get her involved with making supper. She refuses to listen to me and complains and throws temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way or we stay home to clean or something "boring" as she puts it. She's already started slamming doors and she's only 6 (her brother is 3). At first I thought it was a stage but I'm getting concerned. Her father hardly sees her so I think that may be a factor. Is she just being 6 or should I take her to the doc

My parents are treting me liike im a 3 y.o. I have a good paying job I pay my bills and i help where i am needed. I am getting ready to start school again and i am getting an apartment. Tonight they tell me that i am NOT allowed to let my guy friends stay the night if they want to. Its not likei m going to let anyone besides my boyfriend stay the night but thats not the point. The point is, how do I get my folks to relize that i'mme not a little girl anymore. I mean come on i'm paying my own bills and such. WHAT DO i DO??????

I got in a fight with my mom a week ago and my step-dad came in and tried to physically fight me. I didn't want to but he did. He ended up ripping my shirt off my body that left a burn on my neck for about a week. I live at my friends house now and I have all of my stuff. I've been searching for my biological mother for quite a few years, but so far no luck. I'm hoping maybe someone here might know her or something about her or my siblings.

It was a private adoption. I was told that my biological mom was the step sister of my aunts "then" husband. Social services did their usual checks and ok my adoptive parents.

My biologicla mother's name, at the time I was born, was Pauline Goodman. She may have changed her last name since then, I'm not sure. I was told she may have been from Saltville VA, something near that area. I was also told she had more than one child.

I have the hospital name I was born in and the delivering dr. If you know something about Pauline please email me.

I made the mistake of going to jail for three years leaving my then three children with my mom.I've been out for 3 years now and doing good,should i feel guilty because i want my eldest out on there own?to handle life responsibly? they both work and use there paycheck for the party life without contributing one cent to the household.I must add i am living in a three b.r. unit and my oldest son age 22 has taken over my 2 year olds room leaving my little one to sleep with me. Am i wrong???
