When my girls were little we would peck on the lips sometimes. It's not perverted or anything..just a quick peck. I think it's perfectally natural. It was so sweet when they would come up and poke their little lips up for a smooch.

A kiss on the lips is a sign not only of affection, but of trust. Children have an open heart and will kiss their parent on the lips. Mistrust ,and other feelings of resentment, jealousy, and discrimination are learned as the child gets older. "The secret to a family that stays together is one that is NEVER embarrassed to show affection to each other in public"

Yes I kiss my grown and teenage children on the lips all the time. My daughter is 21 and we kiss on the lips. My son is 17 and prefers a kiss on the cheek, beacuse he always offers me his cheek for a kiss. I respect that. As long as the kiss is not a lip lock or french kiss, I dont see anything wrong with it. I began kissing my children this way from day one.

Depends on their age and the type of kiss. I have 3 girls and kiss them on the lips all the time.

No, I HATE that! My parents and I have always kissed on the cheek. Mouth kissing is so intimate and not appropriate to be doing with your children! I will kiss my kids on the cheeks.

It seems strange to me because my parents only ever gave me kisses on the forehead or cheek. I would kiss my kids on the forehead or cheek as well. While I think kissing on the lips is strange it all depends on your culture and how your parents raised you.

It's very normal to do! There is absolutely NOTHING more fulfilling, and yet so completely innocent than a kiss from your child. Unless you have one yourself, you just can't know what it feels like. Because I didn't until I had my own.
I would also suggest though, that as the child ages, for their sake, you may consider the cheek or forehead as others have suggested.

No don't do it with my children. A kiss on the cheek is plenty. Only my wife gets the lips.

It all depends on how you were raised. My best friends familly is hispanic and kissing and hugging is very normal to them. It was very uncomfortable when I first met 'em, but now I think it's very sweet. Although I don not kiss my son on the lips..
