Yes but I often wonder if it is only because they are my parents. I am not sure I would care for them if I met them outside of family activity.

OMG yes. I love my parents completely. They were the best example for me to model my own marriage on. My father has passed away for 2 yrs now and I miss and love him more than ever. What I wouldnt do to be able to have my dad back. My mom is such a good person..funny, generous, truly happy and proud of her childrens and grandchildrens and great grandchildrens accomplishments. I couldnt imagine anyone not loving their own parents. I suppose ones upbringing has a lot to do with how they feel about their parents. I was raised in a warm loving home with discipline given when warrented. I love my parents!

I love my parents very deeply. They are getting towards the end of life and I live across the country from them. Whenever I visit and say goodbye at the airport, I don't know if it will be the last time I see them and it makes me cry for 2000 miles! I am sure after they pass I will see them again in heaven, but until then I will miss them the rest of my life.

YES! Now that I am a parent myself I know why my parents were so hard on me. Am I parenting the same way they did, no, I'm trying to learn from their mistakes which unfortunatly every parent makes. But overall they did a good job and set a good example.

Had you asked me that when I was a teenager I probably would have said HELL NO! However, the years have soften the hard edges that bound my soul and I can now freely admit that I truly love my parents. I learn to accept their faults and stopped believing they knew everything, they were just as infallible as I am.
I love and adore my parents, they did the best they could with what they had.

Yes, I do love my parents, faults, positives, smart-b*&&ed comments and all. I love them even when they let my kids do things that they would never let me and my sister do. I love them when they spend $27.00 on the grandkids at a conveinence store, and when I jokingly ask why didn't they do that for us, they reply simply, we couldn't afford it then. I love them when they just call to chat, or stop by for a visit. I love them for always having their door, their heart, their ears open to me. I love their shoulders to cry on, and their weekends to take advantage of by sending my kids over. I love the fact that my Mother has never stopped growing, always keeping her horizons open and her intellect stretching the limits, I love the fact that my Daddy is still a goof, tells GREAT jokes, and is impressed when I can talk sports with him, isn't jealous when I catch bigger fish than him, and is still a 3 in the APA. I love my parents.
