I've been dating a man for 3 months now. We've made a lot of progress and he's always made his feelings clear. He told me a month ago that he is madly in love with me and that I'm his kind of perfect. He has always sent really sweet text messages after we'd part ways about how I made him crazy and how he wanted to plan a future with me. Suddenly, his life has gotten hectic and is full of stress and things that are troubling him. The text messages are few and there hasn't been much said that is sweet like it used to be. Emails take longer to be answered and we don't see each other quite as often. The last time we were together he said how much he'd missed me... but I'm still hesitant and wondering if anything has changed. Is it safe to assume that this is quite normal and will pass when the stress does? Or is he having second thoughts and not sure how to address me? He's closer to 40 and I didn't think he'd be keen on game playing, so perhaps it really is just a rough patch?

One of my best friends has called me about 3 times in the last week or so and says he'll call back but never has. Why does he do this? He is so irresponsible. And I can't stand when he swears at me, even if it is jokingly. I told him to quit swearing at me and I stopped talking to him for about a month. I love him so much and we normally tell each other everything but we've been fighting lately, so should I just find a new friend?

I left my husband and moved to Georgia to get a fresh start but I left the kids until I got everything in order. Now I want to go back and get them but my husband wants to try and raised them (all girls). They are in Louisiana and we are not divorced yet. How can I go about getting custody? Do we have to be divorced first? Can I get temporary custody until then? Can I file in Georgia or do I have to file in Louisiana? Please Help!

My friend lives in PA and is going to divorce her emotionally abusive alcoholic husband. She is almost 4 months pregnant. He wants her to abort the baby (which she won't) and says if she won't then he will do everything imaginable to get custody. She is scared and threatened - he's crazy! We are going to talk to a lawyer but does any one here know anything about this stuff?. Can she leave the state before the baby is born - would that help? If you have proof (voice messages) from the father telling her to abort the baby does that help in custody hearings?

my friend and i and this guy i like (and she knows i like him) all went to Scarowinds (north carolina theme park) with my brother and my mom. (my brother and the guy are best friends)
well...as we were walking from place to place she constantly kept trying to get next to him saying stuff like "o my gosh im sooo scared" and it was totally fake. and the whole time we were there i had to walk with her elbow in my stomach as she was blocking me from standing next to him and thinking i didnt notice. and she stole his drink and drank out of it, even when she had her own, and she kept trying to get me away from him like calling me to stand on the other side of her, two people away from him. and he was annoyed. (by her) and she kept CLUTCHING on to his arm and cutting off his circulation trying to make herself the center of attention in any way possible. then he finally got away from her and went off with my brother, and she was like "please can we follow him?" and i was like "my mom said no"

Ok. This is very complicated. The person I am trying to forgive is my "Father". I met my dad when I was 11 yrs. old. Previous to that all I knew about him was his name and that he was a liar. Everything was going well until I turned 15 he made a promise that he would come visit me and he did not keep the promise so I got mad and I stopped talking to him. Months went by before I forgave him. I told him that I didnt like when ppl lied to me. So he agreed to not make promises he wasnt going to keep. I few months went by and I was going to graduate from School and there were many things to pay such as prom, and various senior activities and my mom could not pay the expenses herself so we all made an agreement and he said that he would pay for Half of the expenses. He got a copy and my mom got a copy of the expenses. However my graduation day came and went and I did not recieve any money from him. He would not visit or even call to see how we were doing. until six months after my graduation

I met this incredible guy two years ago. At first he showed the signs that he likes me then i started to like him too. secretly of cource i am waiting for him to tell me first. this kind of relationship had been going on for a year and then we even had a class together and i thought this year he will tell me because we become closer together seeing him everyday for twoo hours in class. but as the semester progresses he is slowly showing no signs of affection to me.instead i witnessed him getting closer to a girl in our class. they are always happy when i see them. this hurts the most really. i feel like he likes me a lot but why did not tell me all these years i have been waiting and all my hopes are crushed. after three years i saw them still together on the mall i thought to myself that could have been me. it really hurts to see it because i regret myself not telling him that i know he likes me and that i like him twoo

hi there, anonymous female in her twenties here. I have a friend who is staying with my husband and I in our two bedroom home. Having no children and a spare room, we run into quite a few visitors who end up asking if they can "stay" with us from time to time.

Under the circumstances that my good friend had been going through (with her "fiance") I agreed to let her stay for 3 months. all of OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, & DECEMBER. I even wrote a friendly short one page lease of expectations etc

Halfway through the lease I found out she had been PREGNANT even before she moved in. Well as soon as I confronted her she was a little embarassed, and since mid Nov, Ive only seen her for a total of 4 days.

Well the time has come for her to get her stuff out of the room, she has only dropped by, and I want to respectfully have her get her items out ASAP so we can turn it back into an office, we REALLY need the space, and I am SOOO not good at these things!! Please help.

I'm in that current situation. :[ I tend to eat a lot of snacks. I'm not fat either. So, have you ever spent the night at a friend's house whose family doesn't eat much [aka small portions]?

We've been very close friends for about 11 years. The attraction has always been there but the timing was always off. Still, we remained the closest of friends. When he began dating his wife, he brought her around and no one, including me, thought it was going to last. Until she got pregnant. He is a responsible guy and he did love her so marriage was the next logical step. And all of our friends, including me, supported him. We continued to support him even after she changed into this controlling, mean woman after the wedding, not allowing him to see his friends and even preventing him from seeing his own family on occasion. This has been going on for three years. He is fed up but can't leave his daughter behind. One innocent evening, on one of the rare occasions he got to visit the old neighborhood, we were talking about his situation and our attraction and loneliness got the better of both of us. We want to continue seeing each other, but I don't know how to behave around him.

Do you think premarital sex is okay for previously married people?

My fiance and I have been together for 2 years and previously married before. We're 39 & 42. For the first 18 months of our relationship, we engaged in premarital sex. We're both Christians.

According to the New Testament, premarital sex is fornication. But according to the Old Testament, premarital sex was justified amongst engaged couples, widows/widowers (Judah and Tamar in Gen), and divorced couples.

The NT doesn't go into as much detail about the lives of the people, other than Jesus' ministry, the letters of Paul, and his different missionary trips. It states that people who haven't been married should refrain from premarital sex, but doesn't say clearly about widows and previously married people.

The OT goes into great detail about the lives of over 200 people. We see that several people, who are favored by God, engaged in not only premarital sex, but also extramarital sex (David and Solomon).
