I looked at a question in here and got sidetracked by a phone call. Some one asked how to deal with a friend who died. My answer is from myself who lost my best friend in '99.

She died from cancer after her daughter was born. She was buried in the same grave as her son who was 3 yrs old. She died a month after him. All I can say is it does get better for us. The best thing and the worst thing for me is seeing her daughter grow up. She is so much like her Mum that she never knew. I love my best pal Ann to this day and I will never ever stop missing her

I usually head back home to Cali for Xmas but this year my sis could not travel back because she just started a new job. I didn't want to leave her here in PA by herself for Xmas so I decided to stay back so she wouldn't have to spend the holidays alone. My mom and brother decided that they would fly over to spend Xmas and New years with us since my sis could not make it which is very sweet. Well i just found out that my sis is making plans to go party with her friends in Miami new years eve and she hasn't told me or my mom anything about it. I am upset bcuz we all made the sacrifice to stay here and b with her and now shes planning her own thing behind our backs. I am upset bcuz i wanted to travel to the caribbean for new years eve too but i decided since my mom is flying all the way here for my sis i will spend the time with her instead. Do u think she is being selfish and should I have every reason to be upset. Its not the 1st time she made other plans behind my back.

Just to get to the point. I hope I was not wrong,but I think that is ridiculuos. Can that be possible? She claims that she only has the size problem with him. I can't buy the argument. Tell me if I am right...I am sorry for the poor guy...They both complain to me.

I'm terrified of what my girlfriend is going to do to my reputation, and the horrible lies she's going to say when i break up with her. Alright, there's this girl that I've known for a while..became closer this year, starting talking a bit more, etc. go to the same church, and talk every week in SS/ before the sermon. even though shes known everyone else at her church forever (I just started there earlier this year), any time the teacher/ someone says something funny, she'll look right at me and laugh, and we look at each other a lot. Mostly when she looks at me, she smiles, and she picks on me a good bit. Also, when i pick on her/ playfully push her shoulder, touch her/tease her, etc, she doesnt seem to care, and doesnt complain at all. Thing is, when shes with her family (her mom is REALLY overprotective, and her dad is semi overprotective as well), shes afraid to talk to me and waits for me to initiate conversation..not just around her mom and dad, but around her little brothers/ sisters. I'm currently in a long distance relationship. We met through friends of friends, we havent met eachother, but we've met eachother's friends. I know a lot of you probably dont belive in long distance or online relationships, but I am madly in love with this guy and I have been for over a year now. I'm not jumping to conclusions, but I just wanna visit him or have him visit me but I just feel like there's going to be so much drama going on with my parents and his parents. on friday i was at my friends house, and since she knows that i like a teacher she went onto my schools website and tyoed in faculty and she clicked on the name of the teacher i like. and there was this contact fom thing and she put my name my cell phine number my home adress my email adress and she left him a message (pretending to be me) that said Mr you are so sexy. I would love to go bang you on your couch u have in your classroom ;]
the teacher read it today and now i think i am going to be in BIG trouble!!!

also she didnt go to school today and i sent her a message saying i was in trouble with the office and she called me today and said why are u telling me u are in trouble when u are not. My mom called the school and asked if u were in trouble and they told her no.
Can they release that information to my friends mom?

My wife's whole family is here and has been here from Samoa for the last six months. Now they want to move here and stay with us until they find a house for themselves. They don't pay for anything or help out with the bills they run up. On top of that, they all speak english but they won't because it's their native tongue even though it's my house. I am trapped in my bedroom all day and night because of them and my wife being on their side. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have two older sisters, one 31 and one 28. I live with my mother and younger sister, my mom is a single parent who has been single for 7 years and hasn't dated anyone since my stepfather left us and she is on a fixed income.My sisters are better off then us, one married a man whose family owns a company that she works for and one lives with her boyfriend and give him all her money.The problem is every time they get something new they have to call and brag about it,I'm not jealous just upset that they know we are having a hard time and they continue to do this to us.When my mom had her own house(we live in an apartment now)they would come over for dinner and do their lanudry now they never come over and we are not welcomed there unless they have something new to show us.I try to tell them how I feel but it always ends in a fight because they don't want to hear it.My mom feels hurt because she thinks she is no good to them now that she can't always do stuff for them.What should I do?

I live with my best friend during term time in lancaster as I am a student at lancaster uni. While my friend was at work the other day he tried it on with me. I said no, and gave him a telling off and left it as that as he had had a few to drink. I know that ppl will think I should have told my friend but the thing is that even when he had cheated on her before she begged HIM to stay with her, he's violent towards her also but she will never leave him, despite my countless amounts of attempts to convince her to. the next night he tried again and was a bit more pushy, grabbing hold of me so i slapped him. Im scared she wil stay with him if i told her and it would also affect our relationship. I would also have nowhere to live while at uni..its her house you see. What do I do? I hate this guy, have done from the word go, but she will never leave him i know she wont, i cant stress enough how much ive tried. Im also not comfortable staying in with him anymore on my own. Any advise?

I really needs some advice.. I cant stop worrying about this.. I started to become friends with a coworker in 1999. We shared alot in common.. Our kids played together etc.. So I just finished my first semester of college going for a Registered Nurse... Im sooo happy... about that... but now everything seems to be going wrong. I just found out two days ago my girlfriend might be pregnant I we arent telling anyone till we know for sure. (shes 17 im 19) A few hours ago I just found out my mom may have just got layed off... my parents just found out me and my girlfriend were having sex... they could have reacted worse I guess... I work a not well paying part time job. I would have to probably leave school, get a full time job, move out, marry my girlfriend... but I just dont have the money or support to do these things... Im going to be the best dad possible, and I would never think about leaving my girlfriend, I love her way to much. We were planning on moving in together next year.. but mabe thatsll have to be sooner... I think I may have just screwed myself over, I mean how am I supposed to tell my parents now?!

My husband's mother has had a long history of blaming his friend for taking him away from his home city. That was more than 15 years ago. I now hold the blame card because he is staying here and not moving back. He flew out there a few times. And since I have known him (2002) he visited twice. We flew out there after Christmas 2003 so she could meet her granddaughter. A very strange visit to say the least. It was almost as if she didn't want us there. She refused to come to our wedding. Making excuse after excuse: Her job (she has weekends off), where would she stay (we would pay for her hotel), she can't afford a ticket (we'd buy her one.) She refused everything. My husband, since, refuses to talk to her. Not that she has tried to contact us. But, she doesn't even acknowledge our daughter. I continue to send pictures and cards at holidays. Although he doesn't want me to. Do you think I should keep sending them? Or just not bother. (By the way, its the same situation with his sister.)
