He is a nice guy but he don't fit me and I did like him long ago

Dumping rudely is wrong but cutting them loose isn't. I knew a man who dumped a woman because she wanted to get married and he didn't. Soon she married someone else and was very happy. If he had kept seeing her she wouldn't have found a man that wanted to marry. They were 60 somethings so knew what they wanted. Once you know it is over cut off the relationship but try not to hurt their feelings.

Your relationship is just between you and your partner, and you should not be influenced by others. However, be sure to dump him in a respectful way, and tell him in person why you and he are not meant for each other anymore. And make sure to say it is final so that you don't lead him on, but do so in a nice way so that you don't hurt his feelings.

how did u break up with him?
if it wasn't a very severe break up, it can still be patched up, i.e. u just told him u needed space or wanted to break up
severe means u cheated on him, or u cheated on him right in front of him, <--- this is an all time low, he'd probably never get back with u, n even if he does, he's an idiot

You have to what is right for you, if someone thinks he is perfect-they can date him! lol! You know what you need better than anyone-if it was breaking up with him than good job! I think it is better to break up with someone than to continue dating them and make them think you still like them! Good job on listening to your feelings!! Merry Christmas!

lol....well it depends on how he feels i suppose...if he loves you then you could try to work it out with him and see what happens...if hes just sad or if he doesnt care then forget the other ppl and do whats best for YOUR life....

If he didn't fit you,then just ignore them,or tell them why you broke up with him.

Don't let other people dictate what you should do with your love life. If they love him so much maybe they should date him.
