I'm not talking about ones that allow free "memberships" that can not read or respond to msgs from other users (useful, eh? Those are the majority!). Are there any sites that let you do all the necessary dating stuff without demanding your cash?

To Iryn - your suggestion is offensive. There are more dating sites out there than you can shake a stick at, and all want money. It adds up! for what may not even give you a result. I am struggling to find full time employment and you can not speak to whether or not I would pay for dinner - something real, that will count.

Maybe there are groups for single people on facebook/myspace as well?

There's always the chance you will meet someone on YA that happens to be within an hour's drive, that is compatible with you. You could also win the lottery!

There is a sponsor ad to the right that offers a "free trial membership": www.SInglesNet.com but eventually you will have to pay.

Are you a nickel nursers or do you looking for a real relation? Most women consider men on a FREE dating site nickel nursers and just fool around with them. I never would put my trust in a men who is chintzy and not even willing to pay a single cent for me. Which women would find that sexy? I guess this kind of men would not even pay if they get the attention of a beautiful woman on a site where someone has to pay for the service. For some guys it is time to wake up! Belief me, on a free website you will very seldom find a women who is ready to meet with you and finally has to pay the dinner herself. On a free site you can flirt around but don’t expect to find a woman there willing to meet with you. I want a man who knows what he wants! Free website with lot of boys not willing to value a lady are not appealing at all. FREE sites are for nickel nurser and but the real heroes you will meet somewhere else. Guys, you get this advise for FREE, the rest is up to you! Don't laugh, consider this, time is to short to waste your time!

No, they do not exist. Meeting people will always cost money. It's called capitalism. What do you do when you go to clubs to meet people, spend money. Nothing is free. There's always a price. It's how the world is ran in this age.
