so my bf is 35, i'm 26. we've been together for 3 months. he seperated from his wife 2 years ago and the divorce is final in 2 months. the other day i got the "i'm not ready for a serious relationship" talk. i said that at my age i'm not casually dating, i'm looking for someone to spend my life with. at this point i think it's him (i didn't say that). he said he didn't want me to break up with him over it and it's not as big a deal as i made it. he definitely wants to keep dating. i told him to have enough respect for me not to date me if he knows he never wants to settle down again and he said thats not what he meant. should this be a big red flag for me? or should i just see what happens? any guys who can relate to his situation?

I just want to have clear information about my ex wife, (she left me for another guy for morethan 3 years and we dont legally divorce ). Is she still has right to claim that she's still my wife ?
I heard that she is having financial issues right now, and if I can get custody of my daughters ( 13 & 14 yo ) which I know she won't let me to have it, but am so concerned abt the kids, she lets my kids working to get extra income.

I have a very stressful job that at the end of the day am so mentally and physically exchausted. But when i come home, at least twice a week, i make sure i hover, dust and keep the house clean and tidy. But my husband is not happy enuf with my efforts, instead, he makes comments about other places that hasn't been done! this evening i confronted him about it and reminded him how stressful my job is and that am doing my best. His reply was, if am not happy with his fussy nature and his needs to keep the house sparkling clean, I SHOULD LEAVE! am just gobsmarked, confused and can hardly believe he just said that. im a senior almost 17 & i like this kid thats in 8th grade. before you answer this with- "umm hun you ned to forget about him and get yourself a high school boy" listen to what i have to ask. about 2 months ago my brother & his friend joe hung out at our house a lot. like all day and sleepover basically. at first it was cool cause we all would get along but then joe started becoming really flirty with me. example of his flirtyness- pick me up over his shoulder just because (this happened on more than 1 occasion), we had tickle fights and other little stuff like that. & then my friend jill met him and saw how flirty he is with me. one night, jill told me that he definatly has a little crush on me. i have asked my friends what i should do. should i like him or definatly stop liking him. i have tried to stop but i keep thinking about him. what should i do??

My husband told me he find me more attractive when I gained weight, I feel discusted by my weight gain, I was a size 2, weight about 110, now I'm size 5, weighing 120lb. I have a hard time believing men actually attract to fat. =)

Well, the Yahoo people were wrong who told me that it would be a bad idea to bring popcorn shrimp to my friends wedding reception because suposively nobody would eat it. The Bride said it would be okay and I brought it and before the end of dinner the shrimp was completely gone. I had 4 to 5 pop corn shrimps per tooth pick and about 50 tooth picks. Before dinner was over the dish was empty. So much for all the people on here who said that wouldn't happen. Has anyone els ever recieved popular advice on yahoo questions and answers that you've proven to be faulty advice?

my dad does nothing around the house, he always tells my mom, "iron my clothes wheres my dinner", "did you even clean today?". one time, my room was messy and he bagged stuff out of my room at 11 oclock at night to throw away and i was studying for exams... one time, he kept telling me my boyfriend was an asshole (and he was my ex) and i asked him if i could talk to him, (my ex) and he kept slamming my head on the floor... and idk. i'm in college now and he saw my boyfriend driving my car (my dad pays insurance, i'm a freshman) and he flipped out and told me i'm taking your car, and parking it behind the house, next time you're about to get in your car you call me. its like my mom will wanna go somewhere and he straight up will be like no you shouldn't go.

Okay, me & my mom get in to arguements all the time. But this funny thing is that she always starts them. It's like she gets bored & starts talking crap to me.
She tells me all this mean stuff & when i try to end it by saying, "Okay." or "Thats nice." She'll say "Quit being smart." & swat he hand back trying to make me flintch.

& if i say whats on my mind during an arguement, i don't cuss, swear, or anything like that, but if i say anything she doesn't like,
she slaps me in the eye, face, lips, head, neck, back..anywhere.
& if a tear falls out my eye, she'll say something like,
"wahh wahh cry like a little baby." i mean seriously, wtf.

One time i threatend to call the cops & she says,
"it won't do anything, im your guardianm im allowed too."

Is this right for her to do this to me?
I mean, she doesn't like hit me with belts & paddles anymore but she used too.

The hitting happens probably every 1 1/2 weeks, but the arguing is every single day.

My husband and I disagree. I have finished grad school, have a great job/career, no bills, beautiful car and we own a condo. He is finishing school shortly, starting a career, has a great car, two kids (previous marriage) and owns the condo, too.

He thinks I am "giving up" because I don't have any more major desires in life. He wants to get a house and go for more things, but, since we aren't having kids, I am happy and content and love our space and freedom.

Should I have more goals?

I have been on my own for about 8 months now and I want to see what it is like to do some things by myself. For example, travel to a town by myself and do what I want to do. Usually when I go out of town it is with my family, and there is nothing wrong with that. But I would like to go one time by myself, just to see what it is like. I know my ex is a nice guy, but he's just been such a jerk these days. He doesn't look at me when I talk him. I painted him a birthday card for his birthday, and he looked like he really liked it and hugged me twice. Week later, he insisted on plowing through me as I was speaking to him, I had to chase him in order to finish what i was saying. I feel silly, I'm always eager to hear his words, but lately, he just doesn't seem interested in acknowledging my existence.
I know he's just a boy, and that I shouldn't let him get to me like this, we used to have so much (or else i thought we did) and now he won't even talk to me. It hurts because he PROMISED me we could still be friends. I hate to let go of his friendship, but it's hurts so much when he ignores me (but, he may not even know that what he's doing it hurtful, or maybe I'm just overly sensitive). Also, he can be such a jerk!

Do you think i should end this friendship or should I find a way to repair it? Can it be fixed?

I am almost19 and I have been shy around girls ever since I can remember. I was never able to tell any of my crushes how I felt or ask them out or anything. I am going to college this fall and never had a girlfriend or even a first kiss,I am way to shy to even approach girls. I just dont feel that women are attracted to me. I dont know why. I know what most of you will say. I just want advice and no judgements please... My sister is dating a sex offender. She is bi-polar and has issues with men etc.... She is going to marry this man. Even though he did not comit rape, he molested an underage female child of 13 years old. She has a high functioning autistic son. My sister has been unreliable in her decision making for years. I can not personally force her not to marry this man. The man is registered as an offender and admits to the crime and is going to counseling.

I can in NO way find it in myself that this marriage is OK. I understand that people can change however, should my sister be the one to find that out? My heart says NO.

If I expose him to my family, the realtionship will either be destroyed and my relationship with her and her son, or they will move away and cut us off all together. I'm not sure where to turn. I need advice.

ok, now before u start calling me dishonest and all that crap, hear me out. Somehow my brother hacked into my email. idk how, but he did, and he did it without changing my password, so I didn't know till like a week later.He's really really annoying. He writes emails to my friends in my account saying that I think they are really sexy, and I wanna make out with them. and also to my to some guys, telling them I've gone lez, and stuff like that.
