I know my ex is a nice guy, but he's just been such a jerk these days. He doesn't look at me when I talk him. I painted him a birthday card for his birthday, and he looked like he really liked it and hugged me twice. Week later, he insisted on plowing through me as I was speaking to him, I had to chase him in order to finish what i was saying. I feel silly, I'm always eager to hear his words, but lately, he just doesn't seem interested in acknowledging my existence.
I know he's just a boy, and that I shouldn't let him get to me like this, we used to have so much (or else i thought we did) and now he won't even talk to me. It hurts because he PROMISED me we could still be friends. I hate to let go of his friendship, but it's hurts so much when he ignores me (but, he may not even know that what he's doing it hurtful, or maybe I'm just overly sensitive). Also, he can be such a jerk!

Do you think i should end this friendship or should I find a way to repair it? Can it be fixed?

We are both in our last teens, if this helps.

Well if he's treating you like that then its probably a sign that he doesn't want to be friends with you anymore. How long ago is it since you broke up? It sounds mean but its always really hard to stay friends with an ex if you just broke up. Maybe you should stop talking for a while. If he wants to stay friends with you he will not ignore you. And he's hurting you then it might help if you'll let him go. You can save yourself from hurting even more.

Trying to stay friends with him for the first place is already trying to repair it. Maybe over time you guys can be friends again.
