No need to name names and hurt peoples feelings but a general idea will do. I don't want to hear the PC junk about how all weddings are beautfiul.....

For me it was the 80s. Pink and metallic silver baloons weighted down with strawberry flavor tootsie pops. Those paper bells and tulle EVERWHERE and a fog machine (I think it was supposed to be romantic) so people were tripping over everything lol.

Does anybody else see the futility in marriage?
You go and make a vow to eachother and lets remember that this is a vow, not some buisness contract, and all you have to do is sign a bit of paper to have it dissolved. Has anyone ever thought this whole marriage thing is just a money makeing scheme? engagement ring, wedding ring, wedding reception,
children, divorce lawyers. It seems that everybody else makes money from your union and no-one is ever there to say "hey, lets work it out before you decide to part ways for free." Women in an abusive marriage should leave - that is a price no-one should have to pay.

Because if she is my sister-in-law's cousin(by blood) then she should be my cousin by marriage. Or a relative by marriage. Plus we all love each other like we have known each other for years but my brother just married my sister-in-law recently, and my sister-in-law's family are people we will be seeing for the rest of our lives because we all love each other. My brother's mother-in-law and her sisters love me like I was actually related to them by blood, and my mom and sister-in-law's mother and aunts are like sisters. So is my sister-in-law's cousin by blood related to me by marriage? Because that girl's cousin is my sister-in-law so she should be my cousin too or some relative by marriage.So is my sister-in-law's cousin related to me by marriage at all?

and i have liked her since the 2nd grade (im in the 10th grade now) and so we used to be best friends in elementary school and the she went to middle school before me. after that year i went to the middle school she went to and we reconnected again, but she had already got a new set of friends before me. and after a couple weeks i sort of drifted away and then we stopped completely talking. then the year after she moved away before i can really tell her how i feel for her. and now we found each other on myspace and i told her i like her but shes like 3 hours away and has boyfriends where she lives and i just dont know what to do anymore......

Regarding sex before marriage, what is your opinion? I chose to wait until marriage (not for religious reasons or anything, just a personal choice), but the thing is, I wonder if, at some point down the line in the marriage, I might start to get resentful of the fact that I never got any other experience, you know? I don't disapprove of sex before marriage by a looooong shot!! Lol, it was just a personal preference.
I guess what I'm trying to say is do you think it's a good idea? Is there anyone on here who did this?
Maybe just waiting to be in love again would be more appropriate? At the moment I stand by my decision, but I guess I'm asking for opinions, from personal experience or not. But only serious answers please. Thanks. =)

My boyfriend is nearly 18 years old, but he respects my decisions when it comes to sex as i'm only 14. He says he's willing to wait as long as it takes, however this makes me love him even more and wonder if i should finally have sex with him. My boyfriend is WAY too close to his mom. Hes a nice guy, but unemployed and still lives with her (he's 39). He cant sit still for 5 mins and does everything for her.

She treats him like a child. Neither of them have a social life so he even goes shopping with her to keep her company - yet he doesnt think its odd. He wanted to spend xmas with her cause if he didnt 'shed be mad at him'. She doesnt get mad thou -shes stern, emotionless and COLD. And I dont think shed care if he was there for xmas or not!

Its hard to know what she thinks of him but he wont hear a bad word against her, even though shes a *****! When I go round she is unable to use my name. She knows it - she just can't say it! I know she doesn't think much of me.

I dont understand it. Its like he never rebelled as a teen. He never left the nest - even though he is independent - his LIFE isnt independent. Is that weird? What is this strange invisible hold that she has on him?
