I want to know why people are bothered bye gossip. Like when I was dating the cutsest guy in school his ex kept saying things about me. I ignored it because I didn't see the point. Plus even if you don't ignore it your gunna gossip about her, and you know you don't mean what you're saying. Please if it sounds stupid it is people.


So the question is, why would gossip bother you anyways?

What ifyou found out the that man you were seeing had a permanent fixation on a woman from his past?


What if he was deeply in love with her and things went bad and he lost her - but he could never get over her?

What if she was his true love and you were merely a "replacement" - (you resemble her somewhat in appearance - that's why heis with you)

What if he kept a picture of her in his wallet and you found out he had pictures of him and her together and he was obsessing over them.

What if he felt he could never love anyone ever again the way he did her - and he could never be 100% open with you?

We want to invite 150 people for our wedding, but it looks like we are going to go over...and we have a budget that we want to keep. Would it be rude if I invite people to come to our ceremony but not the reception? OR since our reception venue allows us to stay as late as we want, so would it be ok to invite other friends to come after dinner for the dancing and music? I am so torned!!

OK, before I get jumped all over, yes, I know I'm generalizing. I asked a serious relationship question last night about my husband and many of the men either didn't read my details or jumped to the conclusion that it's the wife's responsibility to be a door mat for her husband. why is it that when a teenager has something to say about their parents, they are very likely to be shot down by a bunch of angry, cynical, sneering crabs who say things like "shut up you ungrateful kid. if you're smart you'll just shut up. SHUT UPPPP!!! parents are LAWWWWWW"

obviously, i did not come onto a site called "ask yahoo" to shut up. i have a concern/frustration/inquiry and just because i am younger than my parents i don't have to "shut up". being a "youngen", i still feel that i am entitled to speak as all of you, and i strongly feel that asking a sincere question only to be "shut up"-ed is not appropriate. i mean, yes, i have a grievance against my parents. does that mean that i'm a spoiled little b****?
why couldn't we all be just a little more compassionate and understanding here? don't we come on this site to help others, not spew our hatred and sinister sarascm from the safety of our spinny-chairs?

Is Apple River, in Wisconsin, really the ****-fest I am imagining it to be, or are there really guys who can go, float and drink, and NOT screw a whore? Thrusday night my crush and I where hanging like we usley do and we where talking and he told me he had something that he really needed to tell me. He told me that he has a girlfriend in Korea that's where he's from but he moved over here to the USA 2 years ago to work and he hasn't seen her in almost 3 years since he moved here he told me that he talked to her every day untill 4 months ago and that's when him and I met. Well i went to school with this guy 5 years ago, we were ok friends and he was a very nice guy. It was gr 8 tho, but i recently got back in contact with him and yesterday we hung out (just the two of us) at a billards bar, and we were talking about the old days and making conversation right. He seems really shy, but hes really cute and nice and wow body lol. Well im definatly interested but im not sure if he is, in my head because he was really shy he likes me right? or is he shy cause we havent seen eachother in 5 yrs? im kind of confused, i made our first outing at the billards bar so we can talk and do something (play pool) but i want to go out with him again. Any suggestions on how i should go about asking or things we should do? or should i wait untill he asks me to do something? so maybe that way i can see if he is interested?

so my ex and i have been hanging out so i asked him if anything is going to develope with us(relationship wise) last night and he never answered me. so today i texted him so many times asking him if he is mad at me and that he should forget about the question i asked him and he never answered me. so i texted him once more tonight and asked him if he wants to be left alone and i would leave him alone, and he texted me saying that he is on vacation and he is having a blast. i wanted to get the license for my degree for me to be a full time professional and get some hospital experience and resume my duty in the US for greener pasture.& that wilmake my family proud of me. that's all i've wanted since then..however,something came up that changed all these dreams.im now in a 5yr relationship and both of us were planning to settle down early of 2008. he knows about my dreams but he really dont want me to go there, now that were planning to settle down and build a family of our own. he said that he'll give me my whole year salary that i can earn in US just for me to stay.im just confused. i wanted to stay for him cuz i love him and i dont know what wil my luck abrod. but i want to leave as well for my dreams. my family in US keeps on telling me how beautiful the country was and that there you can find an endless opportunity. im so much presured. if i wont go to US my family will get frustrated and if i wil my fiance will think that im selfish...HELP
