Ladies only please. I've been deployed with mostly men for 12 months then a 3 month extension. Headed home next month and I would really like our first weekend (4 day pass) to be the best it can be. I haven't seen her since my R&R in August.

Any and all wonderful ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Afghanistan for one more month them home.

I am recently engaged. My fiance and I are not at all religious.

The typical place to get married is a church, but that seems kind of silly given that neither of us practice the faith.

On the other hand, getting married in the courthouse seems a little too utilitarian, too spartan.

So what's a good secular way to get married that is also classy, romantic and memorable?

MOst of the relationship problems continue because it is so hard to get out when things go sour. Would we work harder on relationships if you were not so bound? Would we be happier if your options were more choice than tied down?

The majority identifies with statements like;
Nothing kills a love life faster than I DO,

There are things that a mate will never tell you. Some of those things are related to life just not as good with you as they wished.

So what is your take? Would relationships be better if you had to work harder to keep them instead of, I already got them through I DO now I dont have to try as hard anymore?

In Texas, After I pay the car off, I heard I can take the title to the DMV and have her name removed. Is this true? Does she have to be present to sign? In the decree I get my car and she gets hers. Our names were on both cars.

I thought when you got married it was okay to have interests of your own and then interests you both have together. If so, then why am I my husband's only interest? Is it normal to do absolutely everything together all the time?

When you take a girl or girlfriend shopping/out, what does the boy have to pay for? Obviously if you go to the movies, you'll buy both of the tickets and popcorn but whats the go when she asks you to go shopping with her? When she says 'what a nice skirt', is she trying to give you a hint 'buy me this'? What if she says that in each and every shop you go to?

What are generally the musts that boys must buy or pay for when they take a girl out (eg shopping)?

with a guy on the 2nd date. Although we're in our 30s, I think this is way too soon. She said "the moment was right". I've been on my 4th date with a guy I'm really into and I feel the moment is also "right" but haven't... I love wondering and the anticipation of it..... I'm wondering what the thoughts are? would you think a woman is "fast" or is there a rule?

My ex is back in touch. We originally went out for a few months but I broke up with him because he wouldn't commit and I felt he was stringing me along. Now he wants to see me again but I know we'll just end up in bed. I'm sorely tempted as I've been celibate for 6 months and am feeling quite frisky ;-) On the other hand, it's unlikely he's changed and I might get hurt again. There's immense sexual attraction and maybe this time he might act differently. What should I do?

I have been unemployed for 4 months and had no luck finding work. The stress is really affecting my marriage, which had problems in the first place, and I really feel we need to see someone, but we have very little money to do so. Any suggestions on "charity cases" counseling?

My husband and I have been married for almost a year now. Almost 2 years ago he picked out the most beautiful engagement band and wedding ring. I absoultly love it and especially love it cause I dont know anyone else who has anything like it. I just found out from my grandmother today that yesterday my grandmother my younger sister and her fiancee went ring shopping. My sister got the same ring as me but in gold. I am furious...I cant believe she did that and my grandmother allowed it. They could have at least called and asked me if I would mind...it was my special ring...and now im supposed to be all suprised and excited when my sister shows her new ring off to our family on mothers day when all I want to do it cry. Am I being selfish?

My wife is one of the smartest ladies I know. She is also my best friend. I love having ethical, political, and intellectual conversations with her. We just finished watching Bleak House on Masterpiece theater. After is was over we had about a 45 min discussion on the story line the characters etc. I love that she and I can do that. I would go crazy if I could not have those discussions with someone.

My brother on the other hand likes women who are not too bright and super thin and very pretty. (BTW my wife is also a hottie!) But when we try and talk to her about stuff we get into she is clueless. I love my brother but he could not handle an intelligent and strong woman. How many of you men out there like strong intelligent motivated women?

GIVE ME STARS PLEASE LOL!!!

i dated a guy before, it was so-so but i really liked him. we even planned on seeing each other again this month. however while we were chatting weeks ago, i asked him questions about his past relationships and he said that he's not interested in getting serious.

the question is, why then would he keep on asking me out if he's not interested? was he "thrown off" that i asked him that question and that he didn't really mean what he said?
