Basically it involves a lot of dirty talk through emails or instant messages, with or without pictures and webcam videos, and each person typically "goes solo" while talking with each other. Some people go into chat rooms and join sites in order to do a lot of this stuff, others do it with significant others (especially when they are in a long distance relationship). The latter isn't uncommon, but the former isn't the best idea ever. (Though I'm sure some posters would disagree.)
I don't recommend taking up any of those guys on their offers to demonstrate--that's gross, and I'm guessing that it's illegal (though I'm not totally sure of your age).

Well to start with, HAPPY (belated 15th) BIRTHDAY!
I think that since you just had your birthday and are only mid-teen, you should either get that information from your (adoptive and loving) parents, or from a trusted source and not on-line. This is not a safe place as you can tell by the other answers, printed by would-be predators.
Basically on-line sex is mostly fantasy over written matter. That's enough for now.

I don't know, me and my ex tried it at a bank once and the security guard pulled us off the line and said he we were sick perverts, I'm glad more people are into sex on lines.

well to be honest if your a virgin it is not healthy to try it if you want to maintain your virginity it will make your curiosity grow more and more. but anyways lots of people do it and i personally think there is no point in it but i would wether a person do that than go out with this person and do something they are gonna regret!

You just talk about what it is you'll do to each other sexually... it's somewhat of a turn on but it's anticlimactic... the real thing is so much better...
