I havent spoken to my brother in over ten years. My mother died the year before, the family had financial pressures , I was 19 pregnant and my brother and his then wife did a few mean things to me. I tried to forgive straight away but felt sick, kind of stressed. When i acknowedge my brothers part in the process i felt better. I waited for an appology, thats all i wanted but ten years have passed. Partly because i moved to another city. I now live in a near by city but can not pluck up the courage to call. i know he would speak to me. But we are strangers now. what would i say to him, I couldnt sit in his house and fill an hours worth of conversation. He is getting on a bit and i would like to have some sort of relationship. But am very shy, no partner, one child, lots of problems, stress at work, this is another isssue. Your advice &suggestions. Thanks

We have a 22 month old & a 6 month old. He cheated a month before the wedding & i forgave him. I dont want a divorce but his mind is made up. I was out of town with family for the weekend & packed his stuff but hasn't moved yet. Anyway I can change his mind?

I think my husband is showing signs of a mid-life crisis. Wanting to spend more time with friends than family,when I ask how was work its always the same that " its work". It doesn't seem like he has the need for physical closeness with me,barely a kiss when he leaves to go to work. He started smoking again after more than 6 mo. quitting,and drinks every weekend.Just got his first tattoo. He refuses to talk about whats going on and if I ask he says he doesn't know...when I say I'm afraid to loose him he doesn't reassure me that it won't happen.Hes never been the cheating type. Is this a mid life crisis or something else? If there is anyone who knows these signs or has experianced them...what was your outcome? How did you handle it? The more answers I get the better.

Silly question I know, but if you're single and want to approach a girl you like the look of in a bar or club, how on earth do you go about doing it. I have confidence to an extent, but not actually going up to a random girl. What is a good convo to start? It's just so hard. Hard to explain and I hope someone knows where I am coming from. No silly answers please!!!

Alright I have just met this guy and known him for no longer then a week, and ever since I have been running around. The first time he asked me for a favor i took his mother to the bank, to the gas station, and to Ingles just so his mom could get food and pay rent!!They live on the brink of a whole new city!! Then just yesterday I took them to the store again!!! Took him to play pool, picked up his friend, an went back to the store to pick up cotton candy for his mom. Now, yesterday the asked me for another favor, If I could help them take his sisters baby to the doctors office or DSS will come and take him. I have been run ragged, I haven't gotten a cent for gas money, and I don't want to play taxi anymore. I know I'll feel bad if I don't help them, but this is ridiculous!!! Nobody in there family drives except for there dad who works all day. Please help me!!!

About a mouth ago my mom died from cancer and me and my Bro got kick out od our home.. My Aunit sing us up for some help.. From the state of Indiana.. Now we have our own place. But we have case workers.. They are going to help us out on the Bills and the rent to make sure we pay them ok.. So do you see any thing worng with that or is that good.. Have you heard of people like that , that help people out??

My partner and I split up last week. It's complicated, as we were together almost 5 years and we have a child together. All through our relationship I have had to deal with his hardcore porn habit (and I mean HARDCORE) and several profiles on dating sites. Each time I have found these he has told me that he doesn't mean to hurt me and that he won't do it again. This time round I found 3 profiles, one of which was put online when I was pregnant, and another that had messages to another woman on the day after I had our daughter (me and baby still in hosp then) that said "I wish I was still in nz, cos you are a stunner". This was the straw that broke the camel's back and I told him that I didn't want to be with him anymore. Hi i have been with my partner for 8 happy years we have been engaged for 3. We have 2 beautiful children aged 2 and 1. However he says that he doesn't believe in marrige as it is only a piece of paper and he doesn't need it to prove how much he love's me and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me.I would never think of leaving him over something as silly as this, but it has been my dream since childhood to get married.
It's not that i want to be the centre of all the attention either because i don't like being made a fuss of.
I just want to be part of his family as he is now part of mine. i think i want to be known as his wife and not just his girlfriend and the mother of his two children.
it hurts as my younger sister is getting married in october and i feel that i am always going to be the bridesmade and never th bride.Should i keep onto him or just let time do its handy work and see if his attitude towards marrige changes?

Afterall isn't it just a peice of paper?
