Nothing is wrong with an inability to spell, we all operate at different levels and have all had different educations.
I do not hold poor spelling against anyone, I have friends who struggle to put together a decent letter but are unbelievably practical with their hands regarding DIY etc.
However if you check the right hand corner of the text box there is a spell check. Therefore it is laziness that lets people post spelling mistakes, grammar can be forgiven as this will pass the spell check.
So why should we not point out the laziness of others when the rest of us use this facility to make reading of the text as easy as possible for other users of the site - surely it is only courteous to do that. But I forget, most people seem not to bother about that nowadays.

it doesn't matter if you can spell or not, use spell check just to get people off your case...
But the real truth is the dumb people are the ones that can't use their brain to work out what you are saying.
Everyone is banging on about text talk and all that, but it's none of their buisness...
I can't spell i am not very good at reading and as for maths it be quicker to ask the last persons 11yr old to answer, however i am 24 and make 6.5 times more money than my friends from my own buisness, i must admit it was hard work but worth it in the end.
You need more than a bit of knowledge to make a success of yourself in this day and age...
look at Gordon brown he openly admits he failed his 11plus yet he is about to run the country...
As for them people that criticise you they usually do it to make themselves and their pathetic ego's better!

To make a virtue of ignorance is to deny civilisation.
Without written communication, there is no science and only primitive culture. One has only to look at the lack of progress of black Africans who had no indigenous written language. Compare this to the Arabs, many of whom lived in harsh conditions but were nevertheless the most advanced civilisation for hundreds of years.

People dont moan when others have problem with spelling - it it when people use text talk and questions aren't easy to understand. There is a difference between ability and laziness.

maybe if you paid attention to spelling instead of lording over yourself in a mirror and looking for compliments on here you'd be doing far better off for yourself.
And theres is ALOT wrong with not being able to spell basic words - those who even suffer from dyslexia are able to spell the word WRONG

It shows ignorance, in that the person cannot be bothered to check their spelling, especially when most people have a spell checker available.
That's my opinion... :(

Nothing, if you want to appear uneducated and lazy, and if you want the other person(s) to understand you correctly.
