My wife has been gone for about 8 months now, and I was wondering if it's to early to start dating. I am ready to get on with my life and don't want to think about the past anymore.

I have been in a relationship for 3 years. I lost my virginity to my boyfriend a few months into the relationship. I was looking forward to it, but afterwards i was disappointed. Since that point, i have only desired to have sex very few times (and those were usually under the influence of alcohol). We would have sex, but it was when he desired to and i just went along with it.
Then we entered a long distance relationship. While apart, he cheated on me. Since then, i have felt that sex is very impersonal and not about love, but just about physical pleasure. Before he cheated, even though i didn't want to have sex, i could tolerate it. Now, i have a hard time tolerating it (it was indifferent, now it's distasteful). We are not apart anymore, so it's not painful anymore. I still like and desire kissing/touching like we did before we first had sex and i know that the cheating has affected me, but besides the very first time, i still haven't really "wanted" sex. Am i asexual?

Me and my EX have spent about 1 1/2 years all together. I had his child in Jan. of this year. We broke up over something really stupid, he called the police on me yet he threw me onto a bed and I hit him back. (he took my cell phone and keys too.) He has been playing head games by telling me he don't want me, then he wants to make it work back and forth. Then everytime he wanted it to work he would try to blackmail me by saying "YOU HAVE TO DO THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE WITH ME." He calls me crazy because I am infatuated with him, I can't get over him.. Everywhere I go there is something to remind me of him and I cry. Anything on TV, radio.. I cry. My son looks JUST LIKE HIM and I am very sad because he says he DOSEN'T love me and wants nothing to do with me AT ALL. I have been trying to GET OVER HIM but I can't. Having a baby with him too makes it real hard, because he fathered y child. I love him with all my heart. I want to be with him. How can I get him back? I can't wait it out either

I have been married 4 yrs not so happily and have a 3 yr old son(possibly not hubbys). Hubby and i got married right out of college both of us partyed a lot him more than me during the time we dated he never really grew out partying when we got married causing lots of problems.We both came from similar backrounds neither one of us had ever paid for anything or supported ourselves till we got married needless to say we are in a lot debt now.Hubby has gambling and alchol problems(he gets mad breaks furniture) at present but does not feel he has a problem.He cheated on me our first year of marriage and i had a fling with an ex.bf in retaliation causing a paternity question(a fact i have never told anyone afraid hubbys reaction could be violent).I saved up 7 grand in cash and am considering just packing leaving the house and going back to my home state.Is wrong to leave your spouse without warning and only a note?

I am twelve years old and my friends always go out to the mall together. My mom won't let me ever go shopping with them becasue she thinks I'm just "spending money". Well, that's not exactly the point - its spending money to GET THINGS. She won't let me ever go and my older sister, who can drive now, goes out practically every day after school to buy stuff. She makes me so jealous! Plus, my friends all have phones and she won't let me get one. My father was going to get me one becasue we had a contract that allowed you to get a free phone, but then we realized we had already used it. So he was GOING to get me a phone! And now I can't get one. Please help me, I am really frustrated.

this person, who i'm close friends with, has showed affection towards me when with his girlfriend and admitted to me that he liked me but didnt want to be put in the situation where he's hurt someone and so nothing more happened of it. but there has been little things between us and a week or so ago, he split with his girlfriend but still loves her and still text her. although this has happened only a few days ago, lastnight while we were staying with a friend, he was affectionate to me. i'm so frustrated because he still loves his gf alot. I love him so much and its hurting me to know that i may never have him, that he'll probably go back to her. and i dont want to spoil our friendship either by asking questions he might not like. what can i do?

k so this guy was really fun and nice to talk to at first....then he started being really mean to me and called me a b*tch. which REALLY hurt my feelings.

so, like three days later, i started talking to this guy who is AMAZING! he's never said anything rude to me, and he never judges me. He also lets me know that he cares about me. somethin that guy #1 NEVER did.

so, how do i let guy #1 know that i don't want to talk to him anymore? i don't want to hurt his feelings, but i don't want to talk to him either. *sigh* i don't know WHAT to do. help...please?

I was in the elevator in my building today with a few girls I had seen around but not talked to yet. The two of them had been walking around the building and I saw them come in. When we were going up the elevator one of the girls took off her shoes instead of waiting to get to their floor(7th floor). I guess I was surprised because I would not take off my shoes around someone I did not know unless I felt comfortable around them(maybe at a swimming pool or something like that). It just seemed a bit personal to me. Does this mean she feels at ease around me or is there something else going on here? I know it is a strange question but I appreciate your help.

We were long distance - I arrived in Tokyo this Tuesday from New York. We had been emailing each other constantly since we broke up and we met up Wednesday. We met up at 3pm at Yokohama. Prompted by a question by a bride wanting to con her photographer into a cheaper package, I am curious what everyone thinks.......I feel like wedding services cost more due to the importance of the day and stress involved. Weddings are much different from a child's birthday, usually there are meeting to set things up, potential changes, hysterical brides, etc. I think that's why it costs more.......there is simply more at stake.

I have read posts by budget brides who complain about the cost and I am wondering, why do you complain instead of shopping within your budget....even if it means having a friend do the pics or flowers... or even the cake? Why rail at the vendors?

Or better yet, pick the most important element to you in the wedding and allow for the 'best' in that area and then budget the rest? I don't 'get' how people with the proverbial 'champagne taste on a beer budget' can continually blame others for their inability to get the very best for the very least?
