k so this guy was really fun and nice to talk to at first....then he started being really mean to me and called me a b*tch. which REALLY hurt my feelings.

so, like three days later, i started talking to this guy who is AMAZING! he's never said anything rude to me, and he never judges me. He also lets me know that he cares about me. somethin that guy #1 NEVER did.

so, how do i let guy #1 know that i don't want to talk to him anymore? i don't want to hurt his feelings, but i don't want to talk to him either. *sigh* i don't know WHAT to do. help...please?

Well it certainly doesn't strike me that guy #1 cared about YOUR feelings when he stooped so low as to refer to you as a "bitc*". C'mon girl, did you really deserve that? Think what more he is capable of when it comes to ugly behavior...Drop him NOW...NO explanation is needed really, under the circumstances.

Focus on people you treat right and who you treat right - get #1 guy off your lists of boyfriends AND, friends. He's not worth it, immature, mean and a jerk.

I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't know inside your heart and head dear...listen to reason from both sources.

The answer should be obvious.

Why are you worried about the feelings of a guy that treated you bad?

You might have a mild case of "door mat."

The best revenge is to be happy. Go be around Guy #2. Don't talk to #1, don't read messages from him, tell him to leave you alone.

Letting people be mean to you and then pandering to their desire for social recognition propetuates the cycle. Allowing him to get away with calling you names and hurting you just makes it okay to do that.

If you want people to respect you, you have to punish them for transgressing against you. When it comes to society, when someone doesn't give you the respect you feel you deserve, lock them out, don't associate with them.

You have every right not to want to talk to or pursue anything with guy #1 since he's been disrespectful to you. Just straight up tell him that although you enjoyed his company at first that ended when he was disrespectful to you and that you save time and energy in your life for those who truly care about you.

WTH? He calls you names and is mean to you, yet you're worried about hurting HIS feelings? Why are you being such a doormat?

1) Just stop returning his calls, or,

2) explain that you deserve to be treated better than he was willing to do.

Guy number 1 is clearly disrespectful! That means that he volunteered himself to be hurt! Let the loser know, before you lose the winner!

Just tell him the truth. Tell him that he really hurt your feelings and you met another guy who's really sweet to you and you don't want anything to do with him. Then be done with it and enjoy guy #2.

Tell guy #1 to hit the high road. Life is short to spend on people who fail to appreciate you.

He all ready made his move being rude to you so the hell with him his loss, forget about him totally and move on, if the other one sounds good give it a go try and see what happens.
Good luck
