I was talking with some friends about this... and all being sopranos and altos, we agreed that we all sigh and swoon when we hear a guy with an amazing voice. We wondered, do guys feel the same way about singing ladies?

We don't quite swoon - but yes, it's great to hear a sexy female voice singing.
The thing about guys, though, is that we are mostly primarily VISUAL creatures. There are those of us who don't swoon at all hearing a lady singing, just as there are some girls who have no ear for music and don't swoon when they hear a guy with a great voice.
Expand your research into non-musical girls and you might be surprised what you find! :-)

Not exactly a 'guy' bashing song, but this is probably more or less how you feel. Lovesick- the White Stripes. Especially at the end. "I'm sick of love, I wish I never met you! This kind of love- I'm trying to forget you! Just don't know what to do I'd give anything to Be with you." I'm real sorry.
