Someone has wronged you, then comes back later with a seemingly heartfelt apology. You choose to accept that apology... you forgive them. Can there still be consequences of the original wrong or would that mean that the forgiveness is not genuine.

Example: If you trusted someone with some personal information, and they did not keep that info to themselves. They violate a trust. Damage done. They apologize, you forgive. If you choose not to share with them again, did you not truly forgive?

Think of this in ways of "cheating" in a relationship, or gossip, or lying or stealing.

Can you forgive these violations of trust and still there be consequences?

My younger sister just announced her engagement right in the time period where I believe my boyfriend of 3 years was going to propose to me. Now I feel that if he asks me in the near future, everyone will think we were copying my sister and stealing her glory. We've been planning our wedding for years now, but waiting for the right moment. It's an open topic, and he has hinted that he would ask me officially sometime in the next few months. But, like I said, now it looks bad. I feel like my sister ruined our timing. How long should he wait to ask me? If he proposed soon, should I hide it for a few months and announce it at a later date to my family? Also, my sister has yet to set a date, she said "at least a year." Should I worry about setting our date a certain number of months away from her unknown date? I don't want her to feel like I'm butting in on her glory, but at the same time, I don't want to wait forever.

im confused im trying to figure out how much i will pay in cs i live in fl and my net income is 4060 a month. i looked on this standard form where it tells you how much you have to pay based on # of kids and income which came out to be like 1200. but someone told me that i would have to pay half of daycare on top of that. i was thinking that that # is included. any one know. also that 1200 is under the assumption that she has the kids more than 60% i think. i was wondering how much they take off if i have them 50% of the time.

A friend of mine is getting married in June. Her sister has taken over the details of planning all of her parties for her. She's already had a bridal shower (which her sister put the WEDDING registries in the invitation!) My friend asked me to be a hostess for which I purchased the dress and shoes for already (and happy to do so), but my question is: If I have to buy a wedding gift, the outfit for the wedding, they've asked us to bring a dish to the rehearsal dinner, a bridal shower gift and now her sister wants us to pay $25.00 to attend the bachelorette party, is it wrong for me to be a little less than happy about the "party fee"? Also bearing in mind that I too am getting married this year, moving into a new home and on what I make per paycheck, I'm almost offended at the thought. She's even asked for a $10.00 NON-REFUNDABLE R.S.V.P I would like input from anyone and everyone who knows a little more about these kinds of things. Serious answers PLEASE! Thanks So Much!!

He says he wants it that way b/c he can never count on getting anything at night and he stays angry for wondering all night. My husband says he has not been happy for 10 years yet we hang on. I feel like I have tried to mend things but he is so angry all the time, that it is useless to try most days. I feel divorce is only a short time ahead.

my husband and I been married for 2 yrs., now. The first few month into our wedding he wanted to take his son(from another marriage) to see his mother instead of me. My pastor told him that he should want to take his wife back home to see his family. Now a year later I have not met his family and he's going back a 3rd time since we've been married. I confronted him about it and his responce was, he haven't decided on who he was going to take. Now keep in mind he never took me on a honeymoon and I never met his mom.

I'm throwing a bridal shower next weekend (yeah, I know, kinda late to be looking for advice. ;) ) I'm planning on doing two games. One of them is going to be a song game where everyone has five minutes to think of as many love songs as possible. For the second game I'm going to ask the bride and groom (it's a couple shower) questions about each other and if they get the question right, they get a prize. If not they have to draw a name from a basket and give a guest the prize. Are these OK games? I'm afraid they're going to be boring or that it's just not enough. Also, should I play the question game alone, by itself, or should I ask a question after every gift they open to save time and make it less boring?? And if I do that, should I throw in another game??? I'm starting to panic and I only have a few days to do this. :(

okay, heres the situation.

A loves B

B loves A

B loves C

B likes D

C and D are in a relationship

A and B are not

A and B are friends with benefits

A is a jehovah's witness. premarital sex is bad.

A feels guilty about third base with B

A and B feel akward just being friends so they become FWBs again.

B does not like this

A doesn't want to be in a relationship because his life is hectic.

B disagrees. they are FWBs so it might as well be a relationship

A says she's manipulating him to be in a relationship when he doesn't want to

B gets guilty and depressed and stops communication.

B starts to express love to C.

C talks to D

C and D would like B in thier relationship

B is still attached to A

C is me

whats the most ethical way to deal with this? i really like B, but i'm not really sure what action to take. i have one idea but i want to brainstorm more options and gain a bit of advise.

are there any good but not ethical way to deal with this?

I went to dinner with this girl the other night, we've known each other a long time and are friends and I've been able to tell her anything. But the other night I was telling her that I went out on a date earlier in the week and that I have decided to give up dating. She spent the rest of dinner in total silence and kind of unhappy. Did I do something wrong, why did her attitude change so much when I said those things?

I have been married for 3 years. We have a daughter and one on the way. Last week a lot came to pass. Creditors started calling. Apparently my husband 12 years ago took out school loans, credit cards, and I do not know what else. We were trying to buy our first house when all this happen. He said he just forgot about them. I asked if there was anything else and he said he did not know. Together we make 50,000 a year. We do not have anyone to ask for money. When we pay all our bills we have about $70 dollars left. All that is money for doc appt. or something that comes up. We do not travel, go out, my car is 13 years old, I have not bought clothes for ourselves in 2 years, we do not qualify for food stamps, and I do not wear makeup anymore. I was already cutting corners before all this. He is a great father and a loving man. Money is not something he is good at. I do not know how to fix this. Does anyone?

If you were with someone that you know you love, and you think you know that that person loves you back. Then someone tells you if you come back into their life they will marry you and take care of you for the rest of your life. And you love them but you’re not in love with that person. Would you stay with the person you are in love with or would go back to the person that is will to marry you and take care of you?

Last year my eldest son lent a friend £2,000, with the promise that he would pay it back. This was an old friend that he had grown up with through school and afterwards, so not some 'fly by night'.
However, it turned out that this friend was in a fair amount of trouble and left the area, without, apparently informing his parents where he went!
This was over a year ago and no-one has seen hide nor hair of him locally.
What is the legal procedure for tracing missing people like this.
I do not wish to harm this person, nor carry out legal action (which is propably unlikely anyway). I just want to find him to discuss this 'loan'. Any ideas?
