That is life ! He is not ready for this right now ! GOD first GIRLS second when he is ready ! Slow your role and it will come ! Pray about it and ask GOD to slow you down ! Respect his wishes and deal with the speed ! Good Luck !!!

Just look at it this way - if things were the other way around, would you want him to pressure you into anything?

Instead of focusing so much on the speed at which he is going and trying to think of how to make him go faster... have you just come out and told him how you feel? Maybe he's not sure and doesn't want to come across as a pig. He could be acting the way he is out of respect for you.

Your going to have to get to know this guy longer, develop some intimacy by being sensitive to him. Hold his hand, or give him some light kisses for good behavior like spending money. Things should progress if you show acceptance and loving compliments, be sweet. remember he may value virginity, and that is good. My husband says remember your both going to end up old and crockchety anyway so don't worry, read the bible.

You say he is a "church" guy but not to be rude are you "church" girl. I ask because you would know the forum to ask about a "church" guy would be to talk to god since that is who he is prayerfully is talking to.
And also going to church doesn't mean as much as you would think. There are lots of people that go to church that don't have a real faith. I learned this that hard way.

You should tell him how you feel. Because you don't know how he feel, and vise verse. Once you both have your feelings out on the table then you should be able to go further.
