I'd say reflexes. It's like if I'd pass my hand too close to ur face you'd blink, right, so That's what its' like when you're about to be kissed. Or sometimes we don't want to see the other person's face so close to ours. Or we just close our eyes and expect the best feeling in the world on our lips.

Once, I kissed a guy who always kept his eyes opened. I hated it. Until then I never thought about it. I am not sure I can speak for everyone when I say that when you close your eyes you can imagine yourself everywhere ( somewhere where you liked to be ). Now add a good kiss to that....Uf!!!!!

We Humans have five sences. Sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. When we are doing something that excites us we have a tendancy of zoneing out everything else. When we kiss someone it is something totally sexual, and does excite us. In my opinion, we zone a lot of our sences out. Taste and touch are two that we retain while kissing, 'cause we are usually holding our partner, or caressing them with our hands. Our tongue is also a touch, and taste organ, so it is doing two things. But I know I zone sound out unless it is an alarming sound... like an alarm going of, someone shouting, or lets say like her parents comeing up the stiars (Past can be fun to think back on). The sight... I don't think I like looking at someone cross eyed... so I close my eyes, its just easier. Now if a girl wears a perfume that just has me afire, or she just came fresh out of the shower, her hair still wet, and smelling seriouslly sweet. In this case I'm takeing in three sences, each on over load... So to take in all these and focus on them I just end up naturally tuneing out two of the five sences, which is sound and sight. Then usually I want this to lead to somewhere and will direct it to lead somewhere within the next two minutes...

Example of what I take in as sencery would be her wet hair on her face, and sticking to mine as I kiss her, water trickleing from her hair down my neck tickling my neck, fresh taste of her mouth from just brushing (hopefully she's a passionate kisser too), my hands on her moist soft skin, her moist soft hands around my neck in my hair or scratching my neck, my nostrils filled with her sweet scent with that of the shampoo and the soap she uses. Lets just say sometimes we need a shower again before we do anything at all that day that was actually planned.

Because it makes it feel more passnite and loving because my friend kissed me and asked me why I didn't close my eyes and I said I don't know.

Because it's freaky to just stare in each other's eyes while you're locking lips. Plus, if you close your eyes, your other senses are heightened, making the kiss more enjoyable.

well i close my eyes when i kiss my husband b/c i want to absorb the feeling. I think that people close thier eyes when they kiss b/c they want to absorb the feeling and want to take a mental picture so that they can remember the wonderful kiss.

It helps your other senses to take over. The sensation of touch seems to be heightened- it feels good. that's one reason. Another reason could be, that's what we saw watching tv as we were growing up and we're used to imitating it. But it would be a little weird being that close to someone's face and be staring them down. lol

well, for one thing...how often do you actually look at something an inch or two from your eyeballs? not very often and its not easy to focus and it would be kind of weird just to have your eyes open and stare at one eye or the other, or the pores on their face. Instead of focusing on what you see, one closes their eyes to allow the other senses to heighten I guess. peace

Because it is the passion of the kiss and you don't look anywhere else and have your mind on anything but that kiss and that person

Because their sense of touch is enhanced. By closing one sense (sight) it enhances all the other senses, and it's supposed to feel better. Plus, you can't look your partner in the eyes- it's too hard, you'll be cross-eyed.
