im confused im trying to figure out how much i will pay in cs i live in fl and my net income is 4060 a month. i looked on this standard form where it tells you how much you have to pay based on # of kids and income which came out to be like 1200. but someone told me that i would have to pay half of daycare on top of that. i was thinking that that # is included. any one know. also that 1200 is under the assumption that she has the kids more than 60% i think. i was wondering how much they take off if i have them 50% of the time.

for you a**holes who say im putting a price tag on my kids i SOLELY supported my kids and wife who doesnt want to work. I never spent near 1200 a month on them and they get anything they want. 1200 a month is more than enough to support both of my kids. plus i pay 100% medical and dental. i dont feel i should have to pay 1200 plus 50% daycare. she should get a job and work to support her kids. That funny I pay for everything and she gets custody!!!! I dont want to support HER!! so dont post a comment like im some dead beat dad. And for the comment i would spend more time so i can pay less dont ever post on my ? again i want my kids 100% of the time.

Daycare expenses does not affect your standard calculation for child support. In most cases such as yours the calculation for support of 1200.00 seems correct. you will probably have to pay 50-60% of all daycare expenses on top of the 1200.00 and more than likely 50% of all uninsured medical costs. If you are obtaining an order pro se (on your own without a lawyer) you may want to petition the judge to take the into consideration that you will be having the kids 50% of the time to have your child support at a lower amount along with daycare expenses. If you have someone legally representing you, you may want them to add that as well, along with abatement language in your order (i.e. if the kids are with you for 14 or more consective days, child support will be reduced by 1/2).
Check with the court house where you will be filing for child support to see if there is anyone to provide you with free legal advise regarding child support. It doesn't hurt to contact the nearest child support agency to see what they think as well.

You will have to go to a lawyer. The formula is a bit more complicated than what you think it is. You very well may have to pay extra towards daycare, or not. A lot depends on her finances, and what she asks for. Joint custody or shared parenting as it's called in some states, may also have an effect on the amount you pay. Her income also plays a role in how much you pay. If you make substantially more than her they will figure out how much more you make than her and make responsible for the difference. For example. My husband makes a bit more than his son's mom. Because of this he is responsible for 63% of the expenses and she is responsible for 37%. This includes monthly support and medical expenses. Call an attorney, they are the only ones that can give you an idea of what you are looking to pay.

I live in NC, so things may be different there. But here, (generally speaking) child support per child will be 18% of your net. Now if you have health ins on that child then it'll be less than 18%. As far as daycare goes, no it's not included unless otherwise stated in a child custody/divorce papers. Now if your ex has the child 50% of the time and you the other then I am not sure. You mght wanna call your local Department of Social Services and ask to speak to someone dealing with child support.
Good Luck

Most states use a child suport worksheet...They also go by the amount of time you spend with the child and the insurance if you are ordered to pay and day care also.
In my case my son's dad is supposed to pay now...608..BUT he supposedly hasn't had a significant increase in his pay in 8 years...which is a total lie..he even owns his own business....He's ordered to pay insurance and child-support and since the case is out of state and he doesn't have regular visitation he is ordered to pay more because I have him 327 and he has him 35 days...He's still saying he can only pay the 320 from the 2001 court date...It's 2007 and he is still not paying his childsupport....
It's all on the judgement and what you make...I would definetly contact a lawyer...

It really depends on what you get court ordered to pay. You need to make sure your attorney knows that you have the kids for half of the time. It also needs to be in the court specified joint custody and by specified I mean spell it out! Every day you are to have them from what time to what time. The half of daycare is becoming a common thing. Good Luck

Whatever amount you are issued to pay does not include the cost of other things such as child care, sports and recreation etc. She can request other monies for those things. But should it really matter what you pay when it comes to your kids. You want your kid/s to be well looked after right...then don't put a price tag on them!

when you are divorced, you will have a final divorce decree written up, which you and your ex are to sign.
it's an agreement about who gets what, and the responsibilities of each party.
you can have your child support agreements included in your divorce decree... and you don't have to pay anything over and above child support, unless you agree to it, or unless a judge decides you have to pay it.
i would tend to think that child support is supposed to COVER ALL COSTS involved in your portion of supporting the children, and you should not have to pay anything toward daycare.
talk to your attorney and whatever you do, don't mention the payment toward daycare (or any other extra expenses) to your ex. she doesn't need to get ideas about extra money... i think $1200 is quite enough.
take care.

Get a lawyer. If you want your kids 50% of time they will have to work out all the details. Trying to take care of it yourself can cause a lot of problems.

You may want to talk to a lawyer or the agency for child support in your area, they could give you more sound advice than what you will get on here. Good luck

in TX it is 20% for one child and decreases in Percentage for each child after the first. That does not include child care, medical or dental. Child care ought to be the responsibility of the one incurring the cost.
Those are things that can be negotiated in your Decree, between you and your soon to be ex.
