She likes you and wants to be with you. She's probably frusterated and maybe even hurt that you don't see her in a romantic way and that you are overlooking what she thinks could be something special and great.

hahahaha, ok let me think. there is a border line feeling of like for you. it isn't that hard to see that the girl likes (or did like) you and you blew it, heres a Q for you. how many times have you two had dinner? together, alon just the two of you? is it possible that she could have considered that a date? ok that was like three Q's but your getting my point. she could have thought that you two were on a date, then you put your foot in your mouth. oh when well men learn?

She was holding out hope that you would eventually see her as a woman, not just a friend and you've crushed it. She probably has deep, strong, romantic feelings for you that she has yet to articulate. Maybe she doesn't know how to tell you. You should sit down and have a heart to heart with her. That might make her open up to you. p.s. rent "My Best Friend's Wedding". You'll understand. good luck

She probably has feelings for you and the minute you started talking to her about your date earlier and that you are not open to dating anymore just confirmed to her you are NOT attracted to her and neither would you consider her as a 'possible' girlfriend!

Well ... I would have construed it as your saying, "I went on a date last week, and I REALLY liked the girl, so I'm not going to date anyone else" ... in other words, you were dissing her in a way.

do you have to ask that question? you were on a date. you said I'm done dating. she got quite. SHE THOUGHT YOU WERE ON A DATE. she wanted to be on a date. ask her out again and apologize about the comment. make it up to her with a nicer date.

I think she likes you and wants to be more than friends. Dating someone that you have been friends with can be tricky though. Do you want to risk dating and ruining your friendship if it doesn't work out?
