We are getting married in June. We are paying for mostly everything. my family is helping out with decorations, flowers, and other little things. My gandmother wanted to help so we told her she could do the reherasl dinner if she wanted to, and she was really glad she could help out. i know the grooms family is supposed to pay for the rehersal dinner, but every time we talk to them they dont even metion the wedding or ask if they can help. its not that they dont like us being together, they love me. but they are the kind of people if it does not directly effect them they dont care. should we ask them for help, we could uses it, . Or should i just not worry about it. oh by the way they havent even made plans to come down here yet, get a hotel or anything. they expect to stay at our house, and me and him get a hotel. i am not really complaining, we dont mnd getting a hotel, and our house is big enough for all them to stay there, so it is like our gift to them so they dont have to pay for a hotel room. because 1 room is better than having to find them 10. but should people expect that, i just find them to be rude.

My girlfriend and I have been dating for years, and she often came to my place. I didn't mind doing the cooking and cleaning most of the time because it was my place. But now, after four years, she has moved in. She does almost nothing. We've had so many arguments about it where I feel disrespected. She always says that it will be better soon, but that doesn't happen. Even after writing down the chores that we are going to do, she doesn't do them, or after I'll cook, she'll say, "I'll do the dishes tomorrow," and then she doesn't at least 50% of the time. She'll let them sit for days until I do them. In the first four years, she never once took out the trash, swept the floor, or vacuumed. Now she only does it when I have to bring it up and we argue. I don't want to break up, so is there a way that works for you and your mate/spouse that makes him/her follow through without a resentful attitude? I don't want to seem controlling. I'm being reasonable, right?

i feel very weak. She started dating another guy soon after we broke up (2days). I love her so much that she is all i know for 3 years. Now everything i do is new. Hanging out with friends feels wierd, playing sports is not the same. Its been a month now and i havent seen her or talked to her. and the funny thing is that she lives right next to me. The fact is that i am trying to move on but everyday it gets worse. I am trying to forget her but this is the most difficult thing. i have had so many injuries in my life but nothing compares to the pain i feel in my heart for this girl. I love this girl folks! i love her. should i... i dunno. what do you think is best for me at this point. contact her or let her be. ladies? any suggestions?

My wife and I have had our fair share of problems in our marriage. I am 23 and she is 22, her family lives in a different state that mine. I'll admit I've been the cause of ALOT of our arguements and problems. She went to visit family and we got into an arguement and she said she wanted to split up. I've been trying for 6 weeks to get her to come back but says shes not sure if she can take the chance of things turning out the same way again between us. I've been trying my hardest to convince her that I can change and our marriage can work. I'm so scared of being alone and having to start over again. I don't know how I will handle it if we divorce. I've mentioned coming to see her, but I don't think she wants that. I'm just so worried about all of this. I need some help/advice/support. Thanks everyone.

Earlier this week I was telling me best friend about a conversation I had with a male friend of mind. He asked how I was doing and what was wrong so I explained my events for that day. Instead of reply he just talked about what he should wear the next day. I got frustrated because I was explaining for about five minutes. Then there was a long pause. I was explaining to my best friend that we lack communication in our friendship and she said that males have exceptions on what kind of problems they want to hear eventhough they asked. Is that true? How can you be my friend if I can't talk to you about my situations no matter what it is?

Know a woman she is very attractive and very flirtatious. Have slept with her a number of occassions (as well as with her other very attractive roommate sometimes at the same time.) Now she is saying things like wanting to date and be exclusive (I know that sounds veyr high schoolish). Should there be a pursuit or just go about normal business and not date formally?

My friend or 12 yrs just emailed me to say that she is pissed with me for adding her ex-husband to my Myspace friends list. I honestly thought she was joking and she went nuts on me! I have known them both for 12yrs and they were only together 18 months back 11yrs ago! They had one child back then and she has not been in her sons life the whole time. Her ex has been raising the child alone, and the child, is also friends with my sons. I can't understand why this is a problem. She knew we were friends before and now she is pissed I added him to my list. I'm not going to delete him because he moved clear acrossed the state and it is the only way I know he is coming to town so our kids can play together. He also used to be my husbands best friend when they were younger. We are all 28 years old and I think her behavior is really immature. She knows I would never hit on any of her exs. I'm not going to apologize for it. What could possibly be going on here? Was I wrong?

I once had a first date that ended with a romantic walk on the beach. As i said look at that beautiful sun set, she looked up just in time to get bird crap right between the eyes.
Needless to say, there was no second date.
So tell me your story.

im a guy. my friend is a girl. We are in school. weve been friends for like 10 years. The last few days though ive been noticing she is getting very close to my face. She touching me. Yesterday at lunch she ask me to sit exactly directly next to her. like right over her. She has had the same boyfriend for two years but were fine.

So two questions?

I just need to know are these just signs that shes very comfortable with me and is trying to be closer. or is it something else.

Another question, i said that we were sitting directly next to each other. I got up for a minute. When i came back i sat aside from as to being right next to her. Did this affend her in any way.

I am never failing him though but a little amazed, does anyone exist to trust anyone blindly even if they like one another so much?
P.S I like him as well but I had bad experience and can't easily trust anyone easily.

Having a wedding at a library in Chicago....I've been toying with some ideas like antique or old world candelabras with some ivy greens and rose petals surrounding the base, and for added height...placing the candelabras on varying heights of stacks of old books per table.

Does that sound good? Should the candelabras match or should I have a variety? And other ideas with library-theme??

Thanks for you help!

10% of your wedding budget sounds like a lot of money when you hear it, but would you consider the extra help for you, your family and guests if they were willing to bring down the price and work within your budget?

It's great to have family and friends help, but wouldn't it be nice to have the extra help so they can enjoy themselves?
