Earlier this week I was telling me best friend about a conversation I had with a male friend of mind. He asked how I was doing and what was wrong so I explained my events for that day. Instead of reply he just talked about what he should wear the next day. I got frustrated because I was explaining for about five minutes. Then there was a long pause. I was explaining to my best friend that we lack communication in our friendship and she said that males have exceptions on what kind of problems they want to hear eventhough they asked. Is that true? How can you be my friend if I can't talk to you about my situations no matter what it is?

some men may just being polite asking about the day. If it is detailed, maybe just say a bit of it - if he continues with interest then you can go into details of your day.
Communication is a bog key to relationship - more so partner relationships but with friends also

Men and women are very different. Women tend to be very chatty, finding their comfort in voicing what is on their minds. Men tend to be more tactile & visual. When it comes to men, knowing when to stop talking is probably the more important key in getting along.
