It's a sweet gesture. Being kissed on the forehead usually means he loves you or he secretly adores you, he holds you in high standard in his heart. It's a wonderful kiss that makes some girls weak in the knees. Thank god I was sitting down when I first got one lol.

I think of it as an endearing and respectful gesture. I think it's something my Dad may have done a time or two, but when my husband does it I know it's a simple I just care for you, no strings attached.

I don't think there's a hidden meaning. I think it's just a sign of affection, maybe not passion, just kind of innocent.

It is a sweet thing. Like they want to show you that they care, but that they don't always have to be making out to show you that. A really quick, "i am thinking about you and want to you show you that I am thinking about you."
