Yesterday, my fiance and I were working on the fence in the backyard. It's my house and he has been living with me since September. After working all day on the fence, my fiance made a comment regarding compensation. He asked me how was he going to be compensated for the work he did on the fence. He is presently on Worker's Comp so he doesnt' have much money and can't afford much. I don't charge him rent and he has been helping with 2 smaller utilities of mine. I have to admit I am insulted with his comment. Should I be upset or am I being too harsh?

last nite my husband when horse back riding and i was ok with that. but then he came in the house go some money out of my purse.(its dark outside ok) then he said that he was going to buy a six pack of beer and was gone for over 2 hrs i knew he had gone to a bar or something so when he finaly comes home about 9 pm i was taking a shower and he asked me if i was mad and i told him he should know cause he has spent time with me all weekend and he always makes time for his friends..he said that his friend was having problems and so he went to have some beers with him but yet who going to help him when he has problems with me....he started to ignore me so we where liying down i bed and i was telling him how i felt and he tuned me out....i turned him over to listen to me and he got upsit and yelling things at me so i ****** him up scrateshes bitting and he started hitting me to and worst of all he yelled at me why don you tell the father of your kids to support them. my kids havent seen him

He treats his kids with love and respect but he treats me like trash.
He tells me to do everything when he could easily do it himself.

a lady staying with a man who brutally beats her up(over little things) and after which sex her up pratically everyday . the sickening part was the woman treats the beating up as a foreplay and enjoys the sex part. despite feeling violated she just cant stop this stupid cycle..what advise can i give so that this woman stop behaving in a destructive way .. if the men is reported will dere be any case?

Like you'd think we would - but I for one keep getting it wrong!!! I should - at 30 years of age be able to spot a player - user- liar - cheater by now... yet I keep going for the wrong type of guy - even when Ive convinced myself Ive finally landed a good one - they too turn out to be morons!!!! He is going around telling people that I am an alcoholic and crazy, neither of which is remotely true. He actually left to be with another woman in the neighborhood. He is trying to hide that because he wants to appear to be the family man good guy. Should I tell the truth? Some advise that I should just keep it to myself.

Ok - quick and dirty details . . married 5 years, with husband for total of 13 years - never had a problem with Mother in law until I had children. We have two. She just seems like she doesn't care about them. (she has 7 other grandchildren) But she never calls them to see how they are doing, never does anything special for them, when she does call us, she doesn't even ask about the kids. When she is around them, it's not like she's the grandmother, it's more like a casual acquaintance stopped by. She has never in four years, watched my children.
She is in the process of taking each grandchild out to dinner in their birthday month. My son turned 1 in December..she wants to take him out. Fine, I suggested they come and pick him up and take him some place simple. He is a very easy child. She told my husband that she didn't want to take him out alone, that he wasn't ready. So, now we all have to go ! Should I go ? Or just send my husband and children ?

Please check out my other question about it being appropriate to have female "friends" sending text messages to my husband's cell phone.

A lot of the guys said I am over reacting and I'm jealous and insecure and blah-de-blah-de-blah...

How would YOU handle YOUR wife or girlfriend receiving personal text messages from some guy "friends" that you've never met??? You mean to tell me that you would be totally cool with that and you wouldn't demand to know what was going on? Or who these dudes were that were contacting you???

My ex was a smoker. He would always go outside for a smoke and when he finished he would have a mint. So it never felt like kissing an ashtray. He always smelt good. Even though I don't smoke, I did not really have a problem with him smoking, it is just that I was worried about his health.
