Depends on the guy. Just as different women want different things form their husbands - the same with different guys wanting different things from their wives. There is no ONE set of universal requirements. But let me answer your question anyway.
Marriage goes through phases. Initially guys go for looks, sex, food (always !!!). And then the realtionship graduates to companionship (incl being physical). Don't ever believe that guys want a slave, a quiet one at that. If thats what YOUR guy expects STAY AWAY !!!!! Those relationships generally are unhappy ones. MUTUAL RESPECT, intelligence and selflessness (from both sides) are the most important.

Every man whos is concerned abt his parents, wants a girl who is not only loyal and caring for him, but for his family also. Man wants to marry a girl who earns less than him. Smarter than him. Who can take care of him and his family. They want to marry a gal who is beutiful from inside. Intelligent and has a good sense of humour. Who can walk with him without any hesitation. In a nut shell man wants a woman who can become a Good home maker and a successful professional as well.

guys look in girl depend upon the approches of the guys some might be looking for wife bringing more cash , while some might be looking for caring one or homely ,some want beautiful wife ,some want working ladies in this cultures this different type of choices are made according to individual perception which differ from person to person.

Guys look for respect, secureness, honesty, and someone who can be serious yet fun to be around too. Guys look for someone who can always lift them up, even when they are feeling down. Guys want somone who is supportive and by their side even through the roughest times. And I think that is what helps a good marriage stay strong. =]!

IN first instance they attracted by her beauty than personality in the end if she is good in talking and show intellegence than they start thinkinng about her as wife .
they will think how she will look like as wife to him and to their parents how she will deal children and their friends most importannt how she will deal relatives

brains = not too clever though
face = no-one wants a ugly girlfriend and you gotta think bout the children
body = dont worry too much bout how big your **** are, this is 07 u need a back-off (bum). your **** just need to be clean of rashes and them things.
sex = you gotta want to have sex, dont see it as doin me a favour and yes we do know u like a **** just as much as men but please dont show it. dont be too desperate, when we can do u we do so dont ask just wait.
and also no women are not slaves but unless u earning more than your man u gotta play your position and adhere to about 87.5% domestical issues like cleaning, washing reh reh reh. obviously this differs depending on your guy. all this can be exchanged for a good ol ******** if prefered

in india thefollowing qualifications r mandatory
she must b beautiful and know how to hide it frm everyone except the guy
she must b smart but know how to act dumb so that the guy looks smart
i guess these r very imp besides being able to stay quite unless asked /permitted to speak

lots of things. first, the woman has to be attractive to him, not necessarily to others, but to him. second, she has to be attracted to him. she can't think he's so bad, she has to put a bag over his face. Men want someone to encourage them. Someone to say I believe in you, you can do it, together we can do it. a man has to have praise and support from his mate or it won't work.
companionship, someone to talk to, someone to dream with, someone to challenge him to be more than he is, someone to push him to become more than he thinks he could be.
Someone to nurture him, care for him when he falls down.
probably, a man wants many of the same things you want.
Oh, submissive may be a bad word today, but bottom line, you have to be willing to let him make the hard calls, for better or worse, remember? if he's a chuckle head with the check book, that don't count , you pay the bills, but over all, the man needs to be the head of the house.
