We have been together for 1 month. I know that he has already gotten me somthing. I told him that i couldn't get him anything and he said that it doesn't matter but does it?

It depends on what age you are hun, if your still a teen between 13 & 16 then no is doesn't matter that much, you guys shouldn't worry about that kind of stuff. If your over 16, that might cause a bit of an issue in his brain, so give him a major IOU && be super sweet that day. If you are under 16 though, don't worry, just be nice, do something sweet that won't cost anything OR just ask one of your friends if they can go out and buy something inexpensive for him, like candy!

You could make a special evening out of it without having to spend money on a "present". Dollar General stores have cards for .50 and a meal by candlelite at your house or his would be of little expense. Make it special and romantic and the actual gift will not be missed. Most guys don't even make a deal about these stepping stone anniversaries, after a year, now that would be a little different.

Na, Personally, I don't know how old you are, but 1 month isn't a real big deal. You don't have to buy anyone anything, but if you would like to than that is fine but if you can't buy him anything then don't worry about Seriously. Now if it is going to bother you then make something.. Cookies, brownies, make a card something from the heart, but again if you don't want to don't worry about it. 6 months is when you may want to think about getting him something Maybe.. 1 month you're good..

Just get him a nice card or make a card. It's the thought that counts. You can find cute poems on the Internet or write your own thoughts. For a gift you can get a picture printed for like $0.25 and buy a frame for like $4. Cheap gift, yet thoughtful.

1 months are tricky. too much, you'll seem needy, too little you'll seem not interested. I made my bf a collage of pictures from magazines and gave it to him. It's simple but not over the edge. Try it :)

If he says it doesn't matter, then i presume he means it. you don't have to spend a lot.....or anything at all. as long as he knows your there for him, thats all that matters. and think of it this way....what happens in another month and another and another???

yes it will matter ....treat him to a meal ..or hand made a card for him or something ..it doesnt need to be expensive ..
